Sharon's Before 50 Plan

Yes, it's not long now, is it?! I'm not doing too badly this year, just need to get a few more presents. Haven't thought about food yet, apart from booking a Tesco delivery on the 20th. We don't usually go too mad on what we get in, to be honest. :) xx

It's going to be here very quickly :). Not going so mad this year either but do want nice things in for the kids - going to find some low syn things for me too to try and limit damage. Becky arrives home from France on 22 December. You've done so well Tracy and in the 11s now :D xx.

Thanks, Sharon! It would be nice to get a bit further into the 11s before Christmas, but it's such slow going now, like wading through treacle, lol. I will try to not be toooo bad at Christmas, but I will probably have about 4 days off plan, so will expect to gain a few pounds back! But that's what "normal" people do at Christmas, isn't it?! ;) xx

Yup 'normal' people have treats and diet around it. Back in my younger days I used to eat at weekends and diet in the week to hold my weight - one day I may get to do that again but for Xmas it'll be treats but not binge and then back on it after :).
 
Well the Xmas Decs are up (real tree this year) and we bought some cards. Hubby will do outside lights when he's off on Tues :). Tried the hoisin duck skewers from Iceland today - 1 syn for the whole box, yum yum. Had jacket potato, mange tout, sweetcorn, steak, onions and mushrooms for dinner. Thinking Tia Maria and zero coke with my syns tonight. Planning turkey leg roast for dinner tomorrow night.

Ok dinner - Youngs gastro garlic and herb dusted plaice fillet; 6 syns, Cajun potato wedges and baked beans. Will put my syns a bit over today but evens up elsewhere and nice easy dinner :) Xmas cards for the post mostly written - phew!
The food sounds lovely Sharon. I need to write my cards....! Its a nightmare fitting it all in, at least my shopping is almost done.

Was a bit over cooked as hubby was late in, so,edible but nothing to get excited about lol. Roast turkey keg later as son back to having meals at home from tonight. Hubby putting outside lights up today :). The attached made me smile :)

I am back to SW group TONIGHT a target member who is above target(as i have been phaffing around with other diets for 2 years) but also turning 50 in just over a month YIKES how did that happen .

So although i go on a massive 21 day holiday 2 weeks today. I decided to rejoin SW right now (have been doing it at home for a week) to hopefully lose a few pounds and get me in the right frame of mind to ger right back on it on January 8th

So although i go on a massive 21 day holiday 2 weeks today. I decided to rejoin SW right now (have been doing it at home for a week) to hopefully lose a few pounds and get me in the right frame of mind to ger right back on it on January 8th

Hi Teresa. Welcome :). Sounds like you have a good plan. Anything you do before your hols means you go lighter than you would have and then just get back to it on your return x So holiday for your 50th :). I already know my journey to target will go on behind my 50th in March, but that's fine, it's a lifestyle change but 2014 I plan on doing it. Well done on getting back to class, it's what it's there for. Look forward to hearing how you get on. Where are you off on holiday?

Going to Malta for holiday :) very lucky .

My weight has been a constant battle for me even though I can get to target staying there is my problem :)

But just realised the other day after 2 years of searching for the perfect diet ( ideally one that allows me to eat unlimited choc and cheese and cake lol) that for me SW is the answer , just have to keep at it when I get back to target :)

Oh we'd all love one of those - mine would include red wine :). Think once at target it's a constant on off diet necessity to keep it there but hey lifestyle change. At the moment I just want to get there. Great that we can eat so much on SW though, never been to Malta - nice to look forward too hey, are you away over Xmas?
