Hello, thank you and welcome x. The site is fab and loads of lovely people :). Useful tips and loads of support. We're all in it together :) How are you doing?

Well i popped to Iceland and thought oo that Baileys Dome gateau looks nice, just checked the calories in it and for 1/6 it's 324 cals - 16 syns, 1/8 = 12 syns - put it through the SW website calculator hmmm I've already had 5.5 syns today including malaysian curry planned for tea - so plan b; just worked out syns on Aldi Specially selected sorbet with champagne and that's only 3 syns per 50 g scoop so 2 scoops would out me at 11.5 today, or I could just have one scoop and some forest fruits and maybe a tsp of hubby's baileys pud just to satisfy the taste curiosity. Those syns soon add up!!

Sorry couldn't resist the snowman cartoons lol,x

Picked up these in Iceland too earlier - 2 syns each - again they could soon add up but the family have been fancying them, so 0.5 syns less than quality street or roses chocolate <img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=115986"/>

Ooh, like the look of those! I really need to start getting food in for Christmas!! :) xx

Hi! I have only really just started but first week went well. It was the works Christmas party last night so I may have undone that!

Loving the snowman cartoons :D

And now I have to go to Iceland tomorrow!

I'm sure first week even with the works Xmas do is a whole lot better than if you'd not been on SW - well done for starting pre Xmas. I know for me it's giving me much more control in what I eat this time of year than I'd otherwise have.

Hello, do you now I made that soup, I struggled with it though, think I managed a bowl but couldn't face it really but it was worth a try. This week I'm on tomato speed soup as I've not been since Friday :( sorry if that too much information!

Have you had a good day? Xx

Oo I really enjoyed it but do love curry :). Made 1.5 x the recipe so will gave some for lunch tomorrow. You definitely need the fairy to visit you before weigh in day :). Some of my on line Xmas shopping arrived so more coming together.

Had the curried parsnip soup for lunch today; hubby wasn't keen but I like it, will have the last bit for my lunch tomorrow. Roasted new potatoes, mixed veg and pork chop for tea tonight and a yoghurt for pudding - Lidl choc mint one for 0.5 syns.

Going to try and finally get around to making a jointed teddy bear before Xmas - been on my list of to dos for quite some time :) Have the pattern all ready and fur so will prob cut him out tomorrow and then start to create :) Embroidery thread for nose and joints winging their way to me from Ebay.

Homemade lasagne tonight, I had corn on the cob with mine. Breakfast was fruit, v low fat fromage frais and drizzle of honey, lunch mugshot, persimmon and Lidyl yoghurt. . I had an options hot chocolate with turkish delight flavour at class which was lush :)

Weigh in showed a loss of 1lb which means I have one more pound to go to finally see the back of holiday gain - taken an age but hey ho. Not sure how next week will pan out though as two meals out and * week but will do my best and see what happens. The 3 stone award will have to be a 2014 aim now but c'est la vie, you can but do your best :) normally in December I'd have already started a few festive treats so am feeling more in control than usual - though am starting to fancy something naughty - hold me back lol

Ah Cookie you've been looking pretty on the ball to me x :) definitely a challenging two weeks ahead Geordie. I am planning on enjoying Xmas day and Boxing Day food wise and some wine - it is Xmas after all, but trying to be good on the lead up and between to New Year - current intention anyhow. :) really fancying something naughty but currently resisting lol

Well done on the 1lb loss! Still going the right way, specially at this time of year!

Your plan sounds the same as mine, I certainly won't manage to get through Christmas Day if I can't have at least one glass of Baileys and a few choccies, as you say it is Christmas after all! At least this year I haven't already bought the tin of sweets which I would have topped up at least once by now :D

It is tough walking through the supermarket at the moment but I do feel proud of myself when I go through the checkout with lots of low fat healthy stuff though :)

Another snowman cartoon for you....
