Shazzabir CC Journey to 9st!

I have had a good day today, lots of healthy food. Didn't go for a run, energy levels were really low from yesterday's alcohol, so going to run in the morning if I get out of bed in time!!

I cooked turkey meatballs from Bob's book, they tasted sooo nice. I am going to do chicken breast cooked in parmesan on Tues or Wed, another recipe from the book. It's nice to do something different, instead of my regular food.

Think I need to go to bed now, I will have to be up at 04.30 if I'm running in the morning!!

4.30am run! That's pure dedication!

Thanks for your comment Skinny Sia, reading that this morning gave me the extra push to get out of bed!

I did a 30 min run, feel so much better for doing it! :)

I'm amazed! I was going to get up at 6 for the gym but just couldn't face it so I can't even imagine 4.30!!

You're so welcome! Well done for going for that run :)

I had bit of a gain over the w/e, but that has now gone. Hoping to lose another lb this week, then only 2.5lb to goal...!!! I really think I can do it with the Bob Harper book. The scales have barely moved for so long and now the lbs are just dropping off!!!
My legs should hopefully be back to normal from the race, so can start to do longer runs now.

I am part of a walking challenge at work. It's a global competition that we enter. Basically you wear a pedometer each day and record your steps. I am the team leader for our team. It's starts on Thursday. Last year when I was doing it I could only run 5k, so this year should see some much bigger numbers. It does motivate you to get moving. :)

Is the Bob Harper book worth buying? I'm in love with the biggest loser and got Jillian's 30 day shred DVD heading to me in the post, if the book is good then I'll put that on order too!

- sent from my iPhone. "No one said it would be easy, they just said it'd be worth it.."

Might be worth having a quick look at the 20 rules, if you think you can make the changes, then yes I would def recommend. I can send you the list if you want me too. I really do think the plan works and you feel so healthy and energetic

These are the rules, hopefully you can read them :)

Wow, only 2.5lbs until goal. You really deserve it especially with the break of dawn runs! That's really great news!

I could do those rules, I do do most of those rules! When I'm doing it right anyway.

I found I only had a few changes to make Caroline. I don't find any of the rules really difficult, just a case of getting out of old habits. The one I thought I would hate, was going to bed a bit hungry, but to be honest I love the feeling now, as it means my body is going into fat burning zone!!

I have also found a love for water, which is a bit weird, but you do have to drink quite a lot, so probably just as well..!!

I nearly always exercise in a morning, very rare that I do anything when I get home from work. Although I did do a run on Friday night and was fine.
My energy levels are much higher though, can be quite hard to just sit and watch tv......!!!!

Just a 4 mile run this morning, feel so much better now!!
Today is my day off, so cleaning, washing and ironing, then hopefully chilling outside for an hour.
Going to Chatsworth at the w/e, so need to pack the bags ready. Chatsworth is a great place for running, so hoping to burn lots of calories. Think I might need to, BBQ and wine on the agenda!!!

Chatsworth is a fabulous place for running. Beautiful scenery too. You are doing great as ever Shaz. Keep up the good work, you will be at goal in no time. :)

Haha no way, I'm going to be right near there! That's me, you and squeezy all within a close distance of each other. Watch out Peak District!

Lol!

I shall be touring the derbyshire dales all weekend looking for you both! X

That's pretty cool, I shall be studying everyone I see incase it's you guys, lol.

Think we are going to have some amazing weather!!

Yesterday was a very bad day, suffered with a horrible hangover. My own fault, saw a bit of sunshine on Wednesday and thought a glass of wine would go down very nice in the garden. Unfortunately that led so several more!!!!!
So yesterday's tea was fish and chips and a bit of chocolate and cheese. I was good all day until I got home from work. Oh well.
Anyway new day today!! Despite my binge yesterday I still lost 1/2lb today. So now only 3lb to goal. If I can be good this w/e and follow bob's book I will be at goal within the next two weeks!!!!!!
I will not be drinking tonight, I want a really good run 2moro, Chatsworth is fantastic for running, so want to really enjoy it. Running the day after alcohol is just not fun!!!
