Well done Shaz!! Enjoy your weekend xx
Shazzabir said:Hi Lauren, yes I certainly love running! Are you following a running programme?
Well I am up, so best go put my trainers on! My intention is to run until my daughter wakes up, so could run anywhere between 1-4 miles

I've only really been running at the gym on the treadmill so far, don't feel confident enough to run outdoors until I've gotten better at it.
At the moment I'm just following an interval pattern of walking for 2 minutes, then running for 2, then walking again etc. I can't seem to run any longer than 5 minutes before feeling like my legs have turned to jelly and I'm panting like crazy!! Do you advise any running training programme I should follow?
I wish I could run outdoors in the mornings, but I set my alarm at 5 to get ready for work and get my son ready to go down his nan's, so I don't have time really to squeeze in a run too! But I think I'm going to start running on a Saturday and Sunday morning, no work so no excuses
Well done on your 4 mile run this morning! Inspiring! xx

I found following a programme really motivated me and made me see it through to the end. Also they are so well scheduled that you feel challenged but have the ability to progress through the weeks quite easily.
It took me a good few weeks before I had the confidence to run outside, but once you do it for the first time you soon realise it wasn't as bad as you first thought. You concentrate more on yourself than you do passers by.
