3 minutes doing the plank ?!?!?!?
I struggle to do 30 secs :eek:

Shrimp, I noticed you said you had your third pack, then went for a run. Do you eat anything after your run ?
This week, I have been having a porridge in the morning. A bar late afternoon, about an hour ish before the gym. Then pasta/soup/shake, whatever I fancy after the gym.
I just wondered when the optimum time to eat was. I was always under the impression that eating after a workout was good, as it really burnt up the calories quickly, but I'm not sure why I think that :eek:

Marge...I do have something to eat before I run and then I will have a few carbs when I get home. But only once I have run a minimum of 4 miles. I would eat a few ryvita or last night I had a bag of wotsits. That seems to be enough to pep me up.

If I am doing a long run + 8 miles I will take a running gel with me and take that mid run. I have not even looked at what is in that as I don't want to worry about it! As I know I need it to push my energy levels up mid run.
 
Just changed my goal weight to in the 9's.never thought that would ever happen

Dont forget I am veggie so protein is difficult for me

Ahh ok :) I dont eat meat either, but I do eat fish now, but haven't always. It is difficult eating protein when veggie, that is pure protein.

Yes it is protein after exercise to repair the muscles. Carbs before for energy. Interestingly I did read that cyclists have slabs of butter for energy when they train, hence why I've been having coconut and the like.

you can get low carb protein shakes which are soy protein.

Yes quite competitive but quite a good loser ;-). I don't even let my partners daughters win any board games - play to win!!

slim - a plank is like a push up but you just hold it there sucking your belly in! Ouchy x
 
How are u even getting a signal at the van plym? I couldnt get anything!! Think id cause a hernia if I tried that lol x

I do but over the last few weeks the Oh keeps eating my looming mushrooms and have not really fancied an omelette to be honest.
