Afternoon ladies!

Hope you're all well! :D My day before official weigh in showed a 2lb gain this morning. It's completely expected as it hasn't been a good week, but we'll see what the scales say in the morning!

My aim with regards to weight loss is to be down in the 13s by the time my brother gets married on 17th August. Depending what the gain is like tomorrow that's about 6lb. My weight loss record is pretty pants to be honest, so I think if I can manage that I'd be happy. I think that's about 10 weeks, an average of just over half a pound a week.

I'm a bit excited today as we're having rabbit casserole for supper which I've never tried before, so I hope it's nice! Anyone tried rabbit? What does it taste like?

It was rabbit, carrots, leeks, banana shallots, swede, waxy potatoes, smoked bacon, tarragon and parsley. Oh, and seasoning! Twas yummy! It worked out as 3 syns for the cornflour to thicken it :) xx

That sounds so good! Although never heard of banana shallots! Intrigued xx

Well I'm reporting in with a STS this morning. I'm not quite sure how, but I'm not going to argue! Which means that I only need to lose 4lb by the time my brother gets married to be in the 13s. I reckon that's manageable if I behave myself, lol!

I'm feeling enthusiastic about having a good week this week...onwards and downwards! :D:D

Friday 31st May (EE)

The food plan for today so far...

Breakfast:

None as I was at the hairdresser

Lunch:

Pasta with garlic fried courgettes and mushrooms
Prawns
25g Dairylea spring onion - 2.5 syns

Supper:

SW mega fry up, haha!
- 3 x Tesco Cumberland sausages - 3 syns
- 2 x fried egg
- Bacon
- Tinned tomatoes
- Mushrooms
- 2 x wholemeal toast (HexB)
- Ketchup - 0.5 syn

Snacks and drinks:

Grapes and a WW raspberry tart yoghurt
Pineapple and a WW peach yoghurt
Douwe Egberts caramel coffee (part HexA)




Syns for today: 6

Total syns: 6

I've been thinking this morning (a dangerous pastime I know! :D) about setting myself a long term goal for weight loss. I've been pretty pants for the last 2 years...completely unfocused and not sticking to the plan properly at all. In January 2015 I turn 30 :eek::eek: and I've decided that I want to be 12 stone by then. I've got a target weight of 11 stone, but as I can't remember ever being that weight I don't know whether that's achievable, but I think 12 stone is do-able!

To achieve my target of 12 stone I need to lose 2 stone 3lb (31lb)...bring it on! :D:D

Thanks hun :) It's totally not deserved, but as I said, I'm not going to argue!

I think it's definitely made me more positive about this week though...if I gain I tend to get all mopey about it! Xx

Diced red pepper
EL salad cream - 2 syns

Supper:

Potato wedges (HexB for oil)
SW homemade pork burgers
Green beans
Mayo and sweet chilli dip - 3 syns

Snacks and drinks:

Pineapple and watermelon
Alcohol - 29 syns

Whoop! Well done on the STS and on feeling motivated and focused! I think your mini target for your brother's wedding and your longer term target for your 30th sound really sensible and doable. I spent my entire 30s overweight and now regret it - I feel I missed out on so much; still, I'm making up for it now, at long last! Hope you have a great week xx

Bored bored bored!!!! This might sound insane, but I'm actually glad to be going back to work on Monday :eek::eek: Shock horror! I'm also glad to be going back to Pembrokeshire tomorrow...while I enjoy spending time at home there's just nothing to do here, and there's only so much time any one person can spend reading a book! :rolleyes:
 
I get bored when I'm not busy - I'm used to being very busy at work! She says, just doing some work emails instead of relaxing on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.... Yes, I am that sad...
