The food plan for today so far...

Breakfast:

Watermelon

Lunch:

Roast lamb
New potatoes
Carrots and swede
Green beans
Gravy - 5 syns

Supper:

Weetabix with semi-skimmed milk (HexB and HexA)
Banana
WW yoghurt
Grapes

Snacks and drinks:

2 Tesco light choices sausages - 2 syns
5 alcohol syns
Wotsits wafflers - 3.5 syns




Syns for today: 15.5

Total syns: 58.5

Hmmm...to go to the pub quiz or not tonight?!? I have a feeling I may have my arm twisted. Now that inspection is over and done with and my year 13s have gone on study leave my Mondays have become a lot better, so why not hey! I may even have a couple of sneaky drinks...too much diet coke and I won't sleep!

Lunch:

Pork and smoked paprika ragu
Pasta
Green beans

Supper:

Smoked paprika and garlic SW sweet potato wedges - a new thing for me!
RF cheddar (HexA)
Ham
Beetroot, cherry tomatoes, pickled onions

Snacks and drinks:

Wotsits wafflers - 3.5 syns
WW yoghurt with a Hartleys 10 calorie jelly with sliced banana - 0.5 syns
3 treacle toffees - 6 syns

Ello ello! Well I've been back a day and now I'm shattered! I've also still got a pain in my left boob, and under my arm, and it's been really bad today. I'm starting to get worried that it's something serious :(

I've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but it's not my usual doctor and I'm worried that he'll just try to fob me off as I'm young!! I have to be pretty much on my death bed though before I visit a doctor, so I guess it must show how worried I am about it :cry: I don't think I'd cope if it was anything serious! :(
 
Don't panic hun. And don't let him fob you off.

Am sure it won't be anything serious. More than likely a trapped nerve or pulled muscle or something xx

Thanks hun. I know I shouldn't panic...it's hard sometimes though when all you seem to hear is how so and so and so and so has some sort of disease. I'm such a hypochondriac, haha! It probably is just muscular, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better, which I would have hoped it would if it's muscular. I shall see what the doctor says tomorrow :) xx

The verdict on the sweet potato wedges...yum! I only remember having sweet potato once before as a baked potato and I didn't like it because it was too sweet for me. The wedges were lovely though as the smokiness of the paprika went well with the sweetness of the potato. I think these will definitely feature more often on my menus :D

Busy busy this evening so far... I got in from work at 6 and so far I've made and eaten dinner, made a batch of tabbouleh for this week, put my lunch ready for tomorrow and washed up! Not bad for just over an hour, lol! Pooped now, haha!

Evening all!

What a lovely sunny day it's been! Love it! Well I went to the doctor, and after prodding around a bit he said he thinks it's just rib inflammation, but to go back to the doctor's if it hadn't cleared up within 2 or 3 weeks. I was very embarrassed as he was gorgeous! Just my luck - when I have something embarrassing to discuss, the doctor I end up seeing is a gorgeous specimen of lushness! :p Haha! I feel a little bit more relieved now, although he did say I probably should have discussed that first before he did my blood pressure review, oops! Never mind! xx

I found two new things in Tesco tonight which people might be interested in:

Hoisin duck salad bites

And prawn salad bites

Both of these are 115 calories or less, which is less than the M&S salad bites, so there's probably less than 2 syns by comparing them to the others. They make a nice change! Xx
