Hey sweetie, the kids loved the midnight trip to Asda, they have always had set bedtimes since they were born, and now they're older they are staggered to allow for the differences in age...but even so a midnight trip was a special do and they loved it ...mind you the packet of Oreo's each that they persuaded me and Grandpa to buy them might have been part of that joy :giggle:
I think all kids are the same hun, mine were like that too and these 3 are as well, although when they come here they know better and walk through the door and directly to the bedroom and put all their belongings in there lol....amazing how they do it for Nan and Grandpa eh? lol

I am decluttering but can you explain why decluttering always makes more mess
Grandkids get away with murder and it's always nice to go to Nan and Grandpa's isn't it ...to get well and truly spoilt lol

Hello sweetie, hope you had a lovely birthday hun. I always believed that when you got to be grandparents that you slowed down ....WRONG ......my life is definitely busier lol
My feet :argh: very sore, 4 days in a row now they have peeled badly, hope this means that I am going to get an extra long reprieve from them when they stop doing it cos right now it's not nice...I can assure you.

Thank you sweetie, they spent all day Saturday finishing off their grand designs and they were lovely I must say, they really concentrated on all the things that their Mum loves. Betty Boop, Marilyn Monroe and her sense of humour, so Jack the youngest made her a betty boop card, Kelsi the eldest made Marilyn Monroe and Kia the middle child made her a really funny card full of all the comical sayings that my daughter comes out with, it was brilliant.
I don't think there's a nicer thing than to watch your daughter (or son) interact with their children and see the love reflected in each others eyes for each other, really made me happy when I watched my daughter with her kids yesterday and can't wait to see Kirsty have the same relationship with her kids (when she has them) sometime in the not too distant future xxx:hug99: xxx

Positives for Sunday 18th March 2012 (Mothering Sunday)
1) Woke up after just 2 hours sleep, but felt as bright as a button and really happy
2) Had a lovely day with my girls and their families ....and Mal too
3) Got thoroughly spoilt and pampered and not just by the girls
4) I have the best family in the world and Im love them all to bits
5) I have the best mini family and love you all too
6) Despite all the lovely goodies about yesterday, I managed to stay 90% on plan
7) Had a lovely converstion with my bestie via the webcam yesterday and that made Mother's Day even more special

Hey sweetie, nope feet are no better and to top it all the nail that was pulled by my granddaughter that I hoped had knitted itself back is now hanging off and I don't have the guts to finish the job and I'm not letting anyone near my feet, not unless they want some bruises :argh:, can't stand my feet being touched, even if they get about 3 inches away I am screaming :giggle: it's the thought of it.
Now I have worked my little butt off so hoping for a loss this week but had a sneaky peek earlier and it's saying STS ....:hmm: well as we all know that can change well over night so not gonna fret . :hug99: xxxx

Well what a busy little bee I have been today, I managed to shred all those outstanding letters and old bills that have personal details I don't want any old tom, dick or harry seeing, took an absolute age to do ...threw out loads of stuff I have been holding onto but I no longer have room for :cry:....made Mal take them directly to the dump as I knew if I left them outside they would make their way back inside :giggle:
Also polished up all my silver and glassware, when Mal's parents died they had loads of silver from his great grandmother who was a cook in a posh hotel some years ago and who ended up with lots of silver, glassware and dinner services and accessories....some of which we have, others were shared out amongst the family....Mal's great grandad was also a Orchestra Conductor and we have a couple of his engraved ebony and silver batons, they are all a pain to clean but do look amazing once they are done, so that's another tedious job done today, now I am shattered lol...just going to write up my positives and menu and then head to bed :hug99: xxxxxxxxxx:zz: xxxxxxxxx

Positives for Monday 19th March 2012
1) Woke up early and in a good mood looking forward to my day.
2) Today is the 2nd anniversary of the day I gave up smoking
3)Have had a very busy day decluttering the house, about a thrid done so far lol
4) I have the best family in the world and I love them all to bits and they love me :hug99:

6) I had the yummiest dinner ever it was divine and I am still full....not normally so full at this time lol
