Silver's Diary

It's going ok. I'm nearly there :) but finding it hard to get up the motivation to exercise. I've been fafirly good with the diet. Sticking to more protein than usual on PV days too. Just doing one meal with veg instead of incorporating it into all meals. I'm finishing up on Tuesday so pretty excited about having bread and fruit on Wednesday :p

I give up. My attempt at Cruise has failed miserably. I'm in Conso. Very disappointed and down at the mo. Just wanna cry and I can even blame TOTM for my failure or emotional state.

I have the most horrible premonition that I'll be even heavier than I was before dukan this time next year. I don't know where my will power or motivation went...

Sorry for the self-pity rant....just James would slap me upside-my-head if he heard me. Needed somewhere to vent
 
Oi, missus .... stop and breathe!!

Just look at your fabulous achievement and pat yourself on the back. It hasn't all gone away you know; you earned it, you deserve it - so blooming well keep it! :D

Take one day (or even one meal) at a time and don't sweat the small stuff.

We're here for your ranting. Keep posting and keep reading - some of the gals' diaries are so positive at the moment, the motivation rubs off ....

Come on Silver, you're stronger than this :D

Silver:grouphugg:you rant as much as possible, and no you wont be bigger this time next year, youve achieved your tw and its onwards to conso. Keep posting this felling will pass and we are all on hear to listen.... come on silver look at what you ahve achived. Enjoy your conso youve worked bloody hard for it xxx
 
Silvr, I know what you mean. I've felt so fed up on cruise this weekend, but I think (hope?) it's the tedium that makes us long for all the things we're not allowed. Why don't you focus on portion-control and up the exercise for the time being? Don't wallow in food - as others have said, you're absolutely a WINNER with what you've achieved so be proud!

other girls have lost on conso can't see why you wont and reintroducing some bread/cheese and a gala meal would be just about where you're at right now headwise :) so should stop any splurges

and as for apologising for ranting :) don't be silly - we're here for ranting 24/7 :) it's my favourite type of exercise :D xxx
 
Thanks everyone :) .......

but I gained 4lbs this week :( Through a mix of alcohol and sweets (ice-cream mainly) hence my disappontment. I am definitely super happy with how far I've come and how much I've lost, I'm just disappointed in myself for letting myself slip so far back into old ways. What happened to being able to say "no"?

So I'm going back to Conso and I'm implementing a new work timetable to get the most from my days. I went for a run this morning, got up at 6:30am and all, and now I'm going to work on getting the apartment sorted out so I have a nice area to start getting my projects done in. Hopefully I can stick to Conso and maybe lose the last 6lbs (maybe 13lbs? - ultimate goal)
 
Conso a great plan and good idea to take one meal at a time..... Read the conso stage of the book and keep it in ur head so u don't forget...don't let food rule ur life silver, just teem mber how great u feel when u are in control.... And how much u beat urself up for a bit of ice cream ....... Xxxxxx
 
Up early again today. This time for an ab workout. I hurt all over. And I need to get to bed earlier. Only got 6 hours sleep last night and 3/4 the night before. Just woke up from where I'd drifted off on the couch :eek:
Despite the fatigue, the new work ethic seems to be working. Dropped a couple of lbs according to the scales :)

Did abs this morning. I hurt so bad! Running tomorrow morn and James has even offered to join me if he doesn't have a meeting :) going to have a celebration lunch tomorrow me thinks :) that'll tide me over until my starchy Sunday :) I think I'll keep set days for my galas and starch meals. It'll take away the stress of keeping track :)

I hit my mid way point in Conso right before Christmas week :D perfect timing! Double starch and double gala a week! Christmas will feel so decadent :p I'll have to plan some nice meals, especially seen as there should be a few people staying state side this year.

Right bed now. Up at 6:30 for my run :)
