Amazing sight, I must admit. Worth freezing to death at midnight to see

I was exceptionally lucky to get a sighting on 3 of my 5 nights in Norway.

Travel is my one 'vice'

...I don't drink alcohol, smoke or gamble ( boring aren't I? ) - I prefer to see the world! I have lots of amazing memories.

Good morning!

Up early, for another busy day

........the gas man ( dodgy radiator needs fixing ), Tesco delivery ( my Dad still needs to eat ), and the charity shop pick up ( hope he brings a big truck ). Then carrying on with tidying and sorting.

That really encourages me - because I can't really see much change myself, apart from my face perhaps. Strange thing, but I suppose I've been fat for so long that's my perception.

.......but with everyone telling me I look different, I will believe it myself in the end!

Onwards to the next 4 stone off and goal weight!

Eek!!

The gas men are here. I thought they would just fix the radiator, but they need to get at the boiler - and I've had to empty out the airing cupboard!!

.....oh well, needed sorting so that's going to make me do it now!

....and will have to, if I want to get into bed tonight as it is covered with piles of towels and sheets!

Body image is a tricky business, isn't it?

I have been fat pretty much my whole life, so seeing myself as anything different is going to take a while.

.....and I must stop focusing on the 4 stone left to lose and celebrate the 4 I have already lost!

The Northern Lights trip was on my 'bucket list', and I was so lucky to see them 3 nights in a row. Flipping freezing though!! You must go if you can - but take the thermal knickers!!

I have one destination left on my list - Japan - and I am going next April

I adore travelling, and have been very fortunate to go to lots of amazing places.
