Morning ladies
Hope you are all well and busy getting ready for the Big Day.
Hi Becca, hope things are feeling a little bit better this morning, my heart goes out to you but you are right, Xmas is an emotional time even when your hormones are not all over the place. I only have to hear a choir singing carols and I'm off....can't sing myself for the big lump in my throat.
I'm going to see White Christmas at the Lowry Centre and just know that I'll bawl all the way through as Bing Crosby's White Christmas was my Mum's favourite song of all time !!
Things will get better hormone wise but I really don't know how you are coping with the other issue. Do you have any nieces or nephews? Perhaps they will help get through the Xmas period. How is your hubby coping. We all seem to forget that it affects him as well !!
Take it easy when you get back to work, don't let them push you into doing anything you don't feel up to....tell them Sister Angela said so....bloody hell that makes me sound like a nun and I can assure I am definitely not ;-)
It's awful Sue when you can't sleep isn't it. I hope you managed a few hours and didn't succumb to the munchies.
Going out soon to the golf club. The competition was cancelled because of the weather and boy did I need that exercise.....will get the wii out later Kim, honest ;-)
The Hot Pot meal is still on so will have to really try not to eat too much. Will try to refuse the mince pie and brandy sauce.
Hope you all have a good day. I know you will Becca, I'd love to be afly on the wall when you see your parents
Luv Ang xx
Ps Becca can you post the recipe for the mincemeat cake? It sounds lovely.
