Steps In The Right Direction...86.6lbs Lost Fasting

Please forgive me weebuns,for I have sinned...

I bought scotch pies for my up days. Salivating at the thought!

My head nearly fell off my shoulders when I spotted them on the shelves. Then I thought 'oh no, can't have one if those, they're no good, then I thought 'yes, I can have one if I want one.

Bet it will be minging!!! X

You have to have a scotch pie in a buttered roll :eat: Unfortunately I live close to the bakery that won the best scotch pie 2014! I should have shares in it the amount of money I've spent there over the years. And ...yes... you can have one. I've always said to anyone who asked, when you start fasting don't deprive yourself of any type of food you want on an UD...jings on a fast day I've eaten chocolate before. Admittedly not the wisest use of my limited calories but having a wee bit helped me have a successful fast. No foods are banned with fasting x
 
I drooled when I read about the award winning pie!

Do u have a routine eating urs? I do. Lid off first, scoop out n trough the mince then wallop the base, then sides! As for bridies.. I try not to drop any pastry crumbs. No set pattern, just no crumbs! X

I can't eat a pie normally..have to disassemble everything!! Method would be similar to yours. And don't get me started on how I eat a jaffa cake :rolleyes:
 
Have no idea what has been wrong with me yesterday and today..seem to be in a can't be bothered mood. I did the housework yesterday morning and haven't really achieved much else. Seems this is what I get like when I've too much going on in my head and to do...I seem to seize up and stare vacantly into space. I'm definitely a pull the covers up over your head type of person when I'm stressed. Someone really needs to give me a kick up the bum!

Today's food...

Greek yogurt with honey, flaxseed mix and strawberries. Butternut squash soup with corn thins spread with cashew butter. Mint, spinach, lime juice and pineapple smoothie. Salad, petit pain ( still no baked potatoes bought!) and 2 quorn peppered steaks. Strawberry, pineapple, banana and milk smoothie. Last fast day of the month tomorrow and weigh in Friday morning :eek:

Sounds like u need to make a list of what needs done and then prioritise that list. Then u need to action the priorities in order.

Sounds like u don't know where to start. I'm like that too. Good at sorting others but not myself! X
 
It's not surprising that ur feeling stressed u've had such a lot on recently and ur planning a lot of changes too - relationship break ups, changing jobs and moving house all rank highly in any stress ratings. All credit to u then that ur still focussing on ur fasting! Well it's not long now until you weigh in and as u've been so good ur bound to have a good loss! As others have said u've done really well to keep away from the scales for so long too!! Good luck!!

I'm on hols for a month from 2moro - will try to pop in but not sure how reliable the wifi connectivity will be!

Just need to motivate myself to get the pen and paper :p I keep half starting things and then jumping to something else. Really need to focus :rolleyes:

Yes we're taking our 3 grandchildren 13, 9 and 2 away for a week in mid Wales - then hubby and I are off to France for 3 weeks to recover lol- looking fwd to it but concerned about gaining weight - will try to do 5:2 whilst we're away.

Don't be too hard on urself - as u say draw up a realistic plan and try to achieve something each day - I reckon once u get going - u'll feel better - it's just getting that motivation to start that's tough sometimes isn't it! Good luck! xx

Unfortunately priority number one is find a house...until then all the balls I'm juggling in the air can't be dealt with and then when I do find one will all coming crashing to earth in a oner! Have tidied up house and done paperwork stuff that has needed done for ages so feel happier with no piles of stuff lying around x

I hope you have a wonderful holiday upndown and don't worry too much about your weight. Try to make good choices while you can but enjoy yourself as well..you'll deserve it after a week with your grandchildren!! x
 
Nice one fir getting some paperwork done. I'm avoiding mines at the moment but u have shamed me into sorting it tomorrow. I'll feel better because it's been bugging me!
