Well I'm in it for the long haul regardless of any small set backs, so after Thursday it's time to pull my socks up and get on with it! :D

Saturday - UD

Breakfast - All bran and skimmed milk

Lunch - 2 Warburtons easy roll brown wraps with extra light mayo, wafer thin ham, tomatoes and reduced fat cheese.

Dinner - Homemade chicken risotto with rice, chicken breast, mushrooms, onion, celery, carrots, peppers, chicken stock, garlic, herbs and chilli.

Snacks - Dairylea dunker
Raspberries in jelly with squirty cream
2 mini meringues with Yeo Valley 0% vanilla yogurt

A good day's food where most of my calories came from real food and not junk!

Two good days and feel back in the zone after last week's blip. Won't be able to weigh in on Saturday as away for the weekend (Valentine's surprise that OH sprung on me!) Might weigh in early on Thursday morning or might just skip this week. Weekend away won't ruin anything as they are my UDs anyway :D
 
Tuesday - UD

Breakfast - All bran, skimmed milk, banana

Lunch - Vegetable and bean soup. Warburtons easy roll brown wrap with Heinz ketchup with roasted garlic, thyme and honey spread over it, a reduced fat cheese slice added, rolled up and nuked in microwave till cheese melted :D

Dinner - Tuna steak with new potatoes, asparagus, tenderstem broccoli and carrots

Snacks - 2 mini babybel lights
Salt and vinegar popcorn
Danio passion fruit yogurt
2 slices WW granary bread with butter

Really tasty UD and going to bed happy and content and ready for another DD tomorrow!

Mug shot - 167 calories
Salad with lettuce, onion, tomatoes, peppers, cottage cheese, WW tomato and herb tuna and a babybel light - 267 calories
Coke zero - 5 calories
Cereal bar - 60 calories

Total day's calories - 499

So so cold today! Can't wait for the winter to be over. Lost count of how many cups of black tea I had to heat me up.

Yes it's freezing, wet and really windy here - a few trees have blown down - roads blocked off and our phone's been down for a few hours too - but luckier than others with floods and no electric!

You did well to stay on track when ur cold - and 500 cals is quite low - but well worth it - for the loss eh?!

I feel guilty putting the heating on just for me now that I'm working from home....I just keep adding another layer till I can barely move!!

So today's DD isn't happening. OH has taken the day off as we are leaving for the weekend late afternoon and he decided to make me a "healthy" breakfast in bed....seeing as it was the first time he'd lifted a finger since last Valentine's Day I was hardly going to refuse. So I had WW bread...smothered in real butter....and bacon with pancakes and maple syrup...though he seemed really pleased with himself for using frylight in the frying pan with the bacon.. not exactly DD friendly :rolleyes: So I weighed in this morning and I'm 1.4lbs down after yesterday's UD and a DD short but will take it as this week's weigh in and get back to normal a week tomorrow. Going to try and be sensible food wise this weekend but can't make any promises :p

Lovely weekend away...beautiful hotel....lovely food...great nights out...and then it all went to hell on getting back last night. Not attempting to fast today. More like attempting not to binge. Going to try to stick to 2000 calories today and see what tomorrow brings. Do you ever look at someone and think do I really know you at all? Some comments just can't be taken back, once the words are out there it's too late.
 
Hello Alli165. So sorry to hear that your weekend ended up badly last night. I really hope for your sake that you manage not to binge. It would be so good if you could stick to your calories. I used to comfort eat on chocolate icecream when things went wrong. I went through a bad patch and 3 stone of fat is left for me to lose. Things will seem better soon. Try not to keep turning sad words over in your mind. Good luck.

Sorry to hear ur weekend fell apart when u got home - when ur emotions are all over the place - u'll do well not to binge - so a good plan to try to count calories - remember take care of u.

Lunch - 2 pitta pizzas with tomato puree, herbs and reduced fat cheese

Dinner - SW quiche with onions, mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes,peppers, eggs, garlic and herbs and reduced fat cheese

Snacks - Ginger muffin
Pancake with maple syrup

Came in under my 2000 calorie limit. Now to do the same for the rest of the week if not able to fast. OH has moved out to a friend's for the week and we will talk at the weekend as right now I don't want to be near him. Don't know how much is appropriate to share on here but suffice to say I don't think I can forgive him for what he said. I don't think I'm overreacting but will see if I think any differently with a bit of space. He is unrepentant. Determined I'm not going to let the good work I have done with my weight loss get caught up and destroyed by this mess though.
 
Hello ali. Im sorry OH has moved out for the week but perhaps a week of space and time to reflect will help. Youve done really well today with your food intake. Excellent! Well done! See if you can do the same during the week. Your quiche sound delicious!! I cooked a vegetable curry whch I really enjoyed. Take care.

Well done - ur going thro a tough time - I think that cos there's a close link to emotions and eating - it is very appropriate to post what's going on in ur lives/minds - I hope some time apart will clarify things for u - keep posting and u'll get the support u need at this time - take care
 
You tell us as much or as little as you like. Sometimes it's easier to talk to complete strangers and tell them what's going on than people who are close to you. Make good use of this week to get your head together and decide what you want to do. "He's unrepentant" rings alarm bells for me. Also if he has said or done something you don't think you can ever forgive then this will just haunt your relationship and resurface every time there is a disagreement. Good luck and well done on keeping the food under control x

Weighed in this morning and a loss of 3.8lbs. Am assuming the stress is burning off extra calories :rolleyes: Haven't spoken to OH yet. To be honest I don't feel any differently than I did last Sunday so time apart hasn't worked. Just been trying to keep busy and not think too much. Will see what happens when he arrives.. but if he is in the same arrogant, unrepentant mood I don't hold out much hope.
