so now, i wonder if i would do better to get cracking with owl and sort that once and for all, or just try to be stricter on induction to try to sort this out first. i have also been toying with this fasting lark, 5 2 trouble is as soon as i thought about giving that a try i started getting hungry for england which makes me wonder if i could even pull off one day of 500 calories...

i think for now i should try to strip the diet down to basic induction, just wnen i had my first taste of low carb ketchup tonight too sigh!

probably thinking logically about it i am probably best off doing nothing this week as oh is off work and already thought it would be nice to have a chinese tonight... hmm put him straight on that one! so will see this week out, carry on doing what i am doing and see if the scales actually move at all. Then when he is back at work consider what is best course of action?
 
That's a little bit high on protein and low on fat for induction - you want to try and get it close to 60 - 65 percent fat. Not necessarily every day but most days if you can. 5 percent carbs is just right - and really really don't worry about overdoing it on the green veg. You'd need to eat 3 supermarket packs of asparagus to hit 12g carbs. Or 300g of savoy cabbage! Green veg are great, it's only really things like tomato, peppers and onion we need to keep an eye on.
 
usually i have more fat but my meat was actually quite lean today, i did have butter and 2 tbsp olive oil coz i fried the meat and celeriac chips in the actifry.
 
i do use it a lot, i have a large family (only 2 boys but both their girlfriends are here all the time one lives here the other almost) so i use the oven if i have a lot but i use the actifry for and more. I cook chicken thighs n drumsticks in it, they taste so much better from the actifry. i used to do butter nut squash chips in it when i did ww and now celeriac chips. the recipe book isn't great but there are online books and communities, people cook chills in it and sweet n sour dishes all sorts, i haven't yet cooked anything saucy in mine but my friend did in hers. There are pitfalls for proper chips if you don't dry the potato or get the right variety they can get a bit smashed up by the paddle, but on the whole i would say it is well worth it. what ever you cook you only use a tablespoon of oil.

i don't know how any of you feel about water tablets, but for the past year i started to take water balance when i had my totm, it helped quite a lot when i was on ww and i don't know why i stopped taking it. so last night i thought i would give it a go and this morning weigh 2lb less, not going to get excited about it because it might not last, but when i was taking the water balance before the losses remained. i don't take it every day just when i feel like i am retaining like at totm. i don't know why i stopped, just forgot about them.

lovely day out there today, so might go out a bit later as oh is restless, he is washing my sons car at the mo (told you hyperactive) i am slobbing about in my jambes with a cup o tea, obviously why he is skinny and i am not grrrr...

predictive text is soo wrong on a pc, i have an apple desk top in my bedroom never have that problem on laptop as its windows, on iphone and ipad you can turn off the predictive text but i have not figured out how to do it on pc.

really been terrible today i have had way too many calories i know it was pork bellies and so allowed food but still tut tut tut
 
i really need to pull it together tho, i am glad that its not bad stuff i am eating and oh being home it could be a lot worse xx

after i had eaten the bark i thought why? why did i eat sooo much today, i was hungrier than usual a dinner time but still so annoyed with myself grrr x
 
Evening Stubbsey, I did something similar to the 5-2 but it was every other day. The first few 500 cal days are difficult, but then it gets easier. Some use it to break a stall.

You seem to be doing great though wouldn't change anything yet. :)
 
If you are eating low carb but hungry then:
Either you've had hidden carbs causing spike and hunger
Or you've done exercise so hungry
Or hidden trigger food has made you hungry
Or it's just one of those days and the following day wont be a hungry one

Worth figuring out - there is no bad to being hungry - it's a physical sensation! Sticking low carb to feed it is the right answer:D
 
i did stick to low carb foods, i made myself some bark and ate half of it and oh my god i feel so sick now.. think i have had too much fat... feel like Mrs Blobby ugh.... think that might just be what i need to get me back on track well hopefully.
 
It doesn't look like it could be a crazy amount of calories to me. Some days I eat more, some days I eat less, it's a natural fluctuation. Eating high fat does seem to be the best way to kill you appetite though.
 
Its the amounts of pork strips i ate when i put them into mfp it was ridiculous calories i really pigged out ugh suffering now tho x

was that JUDDD i have seen that on here from time to time i am toying with giving it a go myself... when i get my act together.

Had a very busy day today went shopping and walked around for over 4 hours, so i am hoping that will burn off some of that fat i ate yesterday.. i felt so ill all evening right up until i went to bed, wont be doing that again! Bought a nice hoodie jacket from Next today tho and a size smaller than i usually get from Next so woo hoo to that!

Been good food wise today.

D. my chicken and bacon thing, had two breasts, broccoli, savoy cabbage

S. later 6 slices of salami crisps
