I know but i deserve a lie in on the weekend - i got up at 9am today :p Oooh in my defense i'll tell Jillian that you do none either ;) Blackmail works boths ways :p lol
 
I had a good day today - Had a large lunch with the entire (extended) family to celebrate mothers day. Even though i didn't eat the same food as them i did have a good time as we all ate together as a family :D Didn't feel deprived at all as i cooked a SW suitable cake (from a recipe on here) and had a piece of that.

Green Day:

Breakfast: Banana, Pear, Apple and orange

Lunch: Quorn fillets, boiled new potatoes, boiled vegetables, baked beans

Dinner: Spicy Carrot soup and Pink grapefruit

Snacks: FF Shape yogurt, Tea x 3 (HEA), Weetbaix oat bar (HEB)

Syns:
Fat free sponge cake (recipe from here) (3 ½ syns)
Funsize Milky bar (3 ½ syns)

Exercise: Again none - Unless vaccuming the house and running around the kitchen for most of the day counts?
 
Hey all! Sorry was soo busy yesterday with assignments that i had no time to update or pop on here. This is a flying visit too as i have my hand in today and need to proof read and what not. I stuck to having a 100% day yesterday and so am hoping hte scales this week reflect this :D

Green Day:
Breakfast: Puffed Wheat (HEB) and Semi Skimmed Milk (HEA) with white grapefruit

Lunch: ½ Melon, Orange and apple

Dinner: Pasta n sauce with cherry tomatoes

Snacks: Pear, FF Shape yogurt, Tea x 3 (HEA), natural fromage frais, Kelloggs fibre (HEB)

Re: red days and hunger.. prior to a short while ago I would never do red days (unless I was preparing to have a mix grill :rolleyes: type dinner)
Was always thinking 'I'll be hungry on red days/what do you snack on' etc... since on green days I literally used to snack on savory rice/noodles.

Now - on red or green days I only snack on superfree foods or yogurt/cottage cheese.
I don't know how this happened but I am GLAD. (can't believe I actually managed to lose a stone and a half doing this - no wonder it took 5 months!)

Anyway, now on red days I'll have a HEB (and fruit) breakfast.. or scrambled egg and smoked salmon. would have a fruit/avtivia yogurt before lunch which would eiter be ss soup or salad and some kind of meat (aaaaaaaaa cave man :eek:) and then usually have some more fruit/veg until dinner which was/is usually either lots of veg and fish/meat with potatoe or pasta (HEB)

Red days are much easier when I think of the things I can have and not what I can't.

Anwyay, nevermind me waffling on - :bliss: 14 consecutive 100% :eek: days! BOO YA! I am SO impressed!!! :D :clap:

I *was* on 11.... but mothers day and THEN the indian called. I told you - once I have syns my body goes in to eat like a heff mode! I am straight back on today with a success express day and will hopefully be 100% on until at least Thursday (when I have my swim - so hopefully after that I'll be feeling oh so euphoric from swimming 5k I won't want to go off track! aha)

I'm was doing an assingment on Systems integration and e business adoption model within a comapny and an assingment on Gene Manipulation lol I'm doing a degree in Information and Communication Technology (I know i'm a geek :rolleyes: lol). But both assingments are now handed in - Only 2 more to go now...:rolleyes:

Your red days sound good to me - I may give one a go but then again i'm not a big meat eater lol Thanks for the advice :D

Oohh and the Scales were kind to me - i got 3lbs off :eek: I never get high numbers lol

He came up to me while i was sitting down and pinched my tummy and said 'i thought i was getting a slim daughter, so whats this :eek:' - that really annoyed me and so i sulked for a little while but got over it. Ahh well :rolleyes:

Lunch: Butternut squash and sweet potato soup with ½ melon

Dinner: Chicken curry with rice and salad

I actually gasped when I read this. How rude. I'm sure he didn't mean it that way, but it was rude. You have every right to feel a bit put out. He is getting a slim daughter - you are slimmer than you were and a work in progress, hence being here. Please don't let this put you off - you are doing brilliantly.

Next time he says it- just reply 'Thanks for your support/words of encouragement' and leave it at that. I really dont know why your family sometimes makes these little comments to you, because your parents are also really supportive and I know they love you to bits.

I bet they were really pleased when you told them how much you had lost this week, focus on that and not anything negative :)
 
Hehe you are the best Smartie i hope you know that :D I will do that next time and i know they are supportive but i don't know why sometimes i get comments like that.. Oh well i shall think about the postive :D

My personal take on this...... your family has teased you for many years about your weight. And I think that sometimes they forget just how far you have come (like we do sometimes) so occasionally a tease comes out.

Another 100% day down and i got to have some ice cream :eek: Ok so its was 2 scoops but that was more than enough as i got my ice cream fix after who knows how long lol Was deifnalty worth the 7 syns i used on it :drool: So i've had a really good day then :D

Green Day:

100% Day today :D I've had a good day today as it didn't feel like i was on a diet. I made my own fake away and had Burger and chips which for dinner which was sooo nice.

Hurray for green days and the 2 HEBs lol i loves Green as it so much for flexiable for me than Extra Easy

Breakfast: Bitesize shredded wheat (HEB)with natural fromage frais, grapes and banana

Lunch: Jacket potato with spaghetti hoops and salad

Dinner: Quorn burger (HEB & HEA)with Maccain chips, baked beans and quorn nuggets

Anyways i've had a good food day and so am hoping the scales will reflect this week aswell

Purple day today for me too, since I have had/am having SW quich for breakfast AND lunch.
Aheh! :giggle: is that even allowed? Thrown a banana and some salad in there for good measure, of course (and a pepsi max – because they are not more tasty than when they are buy one get one free)

Sounds like you’re doing FAB foodwise! Another good loss for you this week sugar plum!
Actifry! Sounds great – and probably much quicker than sw oven chips.. reading your diary makes me want to do green days. No mushy peas for me for a week! Will sort this tomorrow (or maybe tonight since I’m purple :p)
