Probably more water
Can of Dr Pepper Zero

If having SS+ day 2 egg omelette. I'm going to try and manage another SS day but like to have things planned for SS+ just in case.

I am glad that I did not bother to order Carr, yet. I am working my way through Beck and am very pleased so far. I hope that you get right back into it. I love your photos -- you were still very attractive even when heavy. I love the Adam Ant look -- was that a fancy dress thing, or are you just very bold in your fashion choices! ;)

Hi surf. Scales are still playing me up with my weight. Seems like I've put on 6lb this week!!!!!! But..... My fat % is 27.9 on my scales! So some, but not all, could be good old muscle!

Your new 'food' sounds fab! Nom Nom as dude would say!

Thanks Mel! No definitely not bold with my fashion choices. We were in Florida and we tried on every hat in the place!!! That was after we'd been on Pirates of the Caribbean I've got Jack Sparrows hat on and I have no idea what Donna is wearing. Lol I think that's the photo you're talking about!

I'm feeling a bit scared about going on the scales this morning. I did my measurements last night and no change, even though I was thinking my arms and legs look thinner!! I don't know whether to just leave it until next week when I'll have been back on plan for a week and a half then......

27.9 is well into the normal category so that's fab. I hate the scales sometimes!!!!!


I've just read about waist to hip ratio being the most accurate guide to health and obesity etc..... So I decided to see what mine is!

Normal for a woman is 0.8 & for a man 0.95.

It's worked out by measuring you waist at belly button level and hips around the widest part. Then dividing your waist measurement by your hip measurement

My hip to waist ratio is: 0.79 I'm normal and yet 31lbs overweight......at least I'm not at risk from having fat around my organs etc :)

just do it. don't bury your head in the sand. i bury by head when i'm off plan and end up going up the scales. at least you're on plan. you should have lost even just a few pounds. half a pound. an ounce. it doesn't matter.
 
wonder what mine is. my waist is not belly button height though. my waist is 29in and hips are 31in i think. will have to double check it.
 
Right I was brave, went on and by some huuuuge miracle have last 2lbs!!! I've hat 2 targets in one week: I've hit another 5lb segment and I'm below 200lbs only just but I'm below!!

I'm happy with that loss, in the past I was frustrated and cross with 2lbs but now I'm happy, I know I can't get away with having lunches like that every week, but I got away with it this time and I'm grateful!!

Something inside has changed, rather than writing both days off and pigging out all day I had lunch and got back on track right after. And on Wednesday I didn't even eat all my food!! :D Progress!!!

Glad I listened to you Nikki!!!

:). Posted some pics of my new next skirt that I'm taking back. I do not like the look of it on me! Love the skirt but if it was longer, by say 3in more, it would be wonderful.

I've got a skirt that I should've taken back but never did. It's really really short, I think I only bought it cos it was a 12 lol, can't wear it now anyway lol.

I think I've been clenching my butt muscles while I've been sleeping, because they ache this morning :( oh well muscle tone without exercise :)

"weighing yourself is essential!" I have to do it every Sunday regardless, it'll keep me honest and committed!!

And just a little bit of an incentive.....I'm knocking on the 13s door lol! 4lbs to go!!!

lol no. i got it wrong. i didn't have my phone and took a stab in the dark. a very wrong stab in the dark... my hips are actually 37in and my waist is 29in.

therefore.... 0.78 is my hip/waist thing sally.
 
That's fab!!! I'm not sure how much stock I put in it though. I'm clearly 2st overweight but my hip/waist ratio is fine... I mean I guess a person could be mahoosive and still have a normal Waist/hip ratio. Mind you I suppose the chances are a bit remote. I'm just lucky to have an hour glass figure I guess.
