Surfhunny's Countdown to Florida

I've just spent an hour in a nice hot bath, I'd probably still be there if my mum hadn't just rang. I'm just debating with myself how many senna tablets to take!? It says 1-2 on the packet, it's been 3 days so I should take 2 I guess but these little b*ggers are fierce and do the trick. Oh well I guess 2 it is. Sorry for the TMI.

I posted on Nikki's diary that I'd found a book on my shelf about emotional eating. I've been avoiding addressing the issue, which is why the book had been relegated to the shelf. But I think the time has come to blow the dust off it lol and give it a read!! If I ever hope to maintain a loss I need to address my issues with food, so far Beck is going a long way towards fixing that, but this other book addresses the emotions, anger, loneliness, boredom etc all reasons why I stuff my face!! Could make interesting reading!

I've also ordered a couple of books about Glycemic Load and Index. I want to try and get my head round it and see if it's how I want to go ahead after I get to goal.
 
Oops, was so busy reading my Emotional Eating book last night I forgot to plan my meals for today, so here it is, it's a full on K day as a treat for making it through another week lol.

how did TP go? did you try on a run bra?
 
TP was a nightmare!!! I lost my temper with the crowds in m&s so didn't end up going as far as the sports shops. I might get there later next week.

I noticed something today as I was wandering round m&s foodhall and tescos with mum and didn't have a single craving. Mum bought all sorts of nice things, and I never once thought about eating any of it!!! I don't actually remember when my last real craving was..... That's a fab thing because I usually have a million cravings a day on this diet!! I don't know whether it's the hypnotherapy app or Beck or just timing, but I'm glad!! It makes things easier!!!

i can walk around a supermarket as numb as they come. however, it's times at home and i now need to find out when it is i'm craving and scoffing.... why i do it.
 
Oooh I like them!! I've just got the plain old adidas leggings, they come to mid calf. I like them for the gym and zumba because they don't restrict my movement. Still feel the need to wear mahoosive t-shirts over the top.
 
I like that one, esp the purple one!! I wish I could wear vests or smaller tops but my blobby stomach won't allow (well I won't allow)!! :(
 
i like the purple one too and i'd quite like a green one for some reason i feel drawn to green and orange and red. think it's the zumba thing. i'm turning ferrel!
 
Very!!! I'm drawn to black, purple and orange, too afraid to look that up lol.

Well done on the cravings avoidance. Could do with a dose of that sorta mindset myself. What Hypno App do you use? Will look at downloading it!!

Thanks Hun. It's Lose Weight by Andrew Johnson, he's got lots of apps, stop smoking, confidence, public speaking etc. I've got a couple of them but I've only used the weight loss one. Been using it for 2 weeks now. X
 
Cool, thanks chick! Will download it now and get using it. I figure that if it just triggers one little thing in my brain that stops me craving stuff, its worth it!!

If nothing else it'll get you off to sleep lol. I figured it's worth a try!! If it goes even half way to making me stop and think next time I feel the need to stuff my face, it'll be worth it. Good luck with it :)
