To make you jealous..... I'm back at the gym. Feeling better but not yet 100% so taking it easy'ish :D
 
It's so much easier at work today, the team is much more accommodating to my need to sit down regularly, and not only am I now on my lunch hour, I've had a 25 minute coffee break this morning! :D much better than usual LMs team. But I'm back to him tomorrow and Thursday, at least I've had an easier day today.

Things have changed a lot while I've been off, I'm just sitting in the staffroom and there's hardly anyone here. It used to be packed with everyone having lunch together, but now things have changed and it's really fragmented. I feel a bit lost.

I guess at least there's no-one to scrutinise what I'm eating or not eating as the case may be, lol.
 
Hi Sal,

I'll bet a packed room would be stressful after so much time away from the hustle and bustle. I think it is good you can have a quiet break from your work chaos.

I'm not sure Mel, I felt a bit like I was missing something... There's no way I'm the only one to go to lunch at 12pm so I don't know where people had gone. I'll see if it happens on Thursday as well it might just have been a one off.

My leg is still sore, but plenty of support and sitting down :D
 
Oh oh oh I just remembered, there's lots of inspiration tv on tonight :D Supersize Vs Superskinny on ch4 at 8pm and lovely Bob on Livingit at 9pm. That should keep me entertained and out of the kitchen, lol.

P.S mm is right I over did it and am not feeling great again. Early night. To tell you the truth I think I need more sleep each night too. Bed at 11pm up at 7.30am still tired when i woke. Have had a bad head since Zumba. :(

Oh no :( did you drink enough today? Maybe that's why you've got a headache? Already I'm missing the gym, Tuesday is usually gym day, but to be honest it's a good job I decided against exercising for a bit because work is taking it out of me this week.
 
yep. i drank a pint before the gym, 3 pints at the gym then since then 2 more pints. as well as 3 dr pepper zero and 4 cups of decaf coffee with 1 ordinary coffee this am. think i've not had enough caffine :eek:
 
Ha ha that's probably it!! I'm just watching supersize vs superskinny and I love the fact that the ad break has been dominated by beauty products, holidays and hair dye not food for a change :D brilliant!!!

Oh and Mel the 5-htp is fab!!! No cravings, fab sleep and nice even moods even though I'm expecting Aunt Flow tomorrow, and I'm usually evil or weepy before my TOTM.
 
It's a pity we don't have the special scales at our gym :( they used to have them at JJB but when they broke they never fixed them :( They give you a print out of you Fat Free Mass, Fat Mass, water mass etc. It didn't cost to use, just had to find a trainer who knew how to use it. You'd think DL would have one. I might suggest it!

i think they do have them. in the last section near the swimming pool passage, the kid friendly changing area near the tvs.
 
I got mine from Holland & Barratt I think they're about £15. Worth it worth it!!!

I've just read that 1lb of fat is about 3500 excess calories, so ive then worked out how many excess calories it took to make me weigh 17st 8lbs at my heaviest......
I was 85lbs overweight, multiply that by the 3500 cals

And the shocking total :eek: 294,000 calories of excess!!! Holy fcuk!!!

I realised this was over the course of 5 years so that's an overeat of 58,800 cals a year.

BUT the really shocking figure is that this works out at a daily overeat of 161 cals!!! That not a lot at all!!!!

I'm stunned by that finding!! But I'm glad I worked it out!! It makes me more hopeful that I can keep the weight off by keeping a close eye on my calorie in take and exercising away any excesses :D

If I'd only kept on top of my exercise at uni which is where I put the bulk of my weight on, I'd have been okay.

very interesting findings surf. i like your thinking. 161 c a day is a glass of wine.
 
I wonder how much it is, cost I think it'd be worth it when I'm nearer to target, to help me see how much is flab that needs sorting and how much is just me. Ha ha, I'm treating 'the flab' as a separate entity to me :D it's on me, it's not me!!
