I'm doing CD for as long as I can manage it and when I can't bear it I go to SW, in a bid to not binge! My plan isn't working very well though as only lost 1lb this week! Boo :(
 
Just incase anyone has noticed a change in my ticker, I haven't actually just had a big loss, I just can't count, I changed my scales into lbs and this was what they said 187lbs, so I've changed my tickers etc because they're in lbs not stones. Maybe I could kid myself into thinking its a real loss...

Well well....It seems that I'm not thick and can count after all, the weight on my scales last night 187lbs is the same as the Scales of Doom tonight!!! Wooo hoooo I have lost this week - 3lbs!!! Yay!!!:8855:

Ah hun that's naff, but don't forget you're only just a couple of days into CD, give it a couple more days and the scales will definitely move!!! Keep your chin up and think of that gorgeous wedding dress winging it's way to you!! Big hugs xxx

aww don't take it personally, your body might be taking its time to catch up. happened to me twice last time round - nothing for 2 weeks then a nice 8lb loss. hold on in there.

Kez, If you go to the Cambridge diarys section, find your diary and double click at the very end of the title a box comes up and you can edit it, when you're done press enter and it's changed.

Thanks Shanny, I had 2 SS+ meals in the end, on Monday and Tuesday. I'm fine over the weekend, but my job is quite active so I think I need the extra cals, but I'm still trying not to make a habit of it. I have upped my water in take again as well. It's fine now I've discovered that Sainbury's and Tesco do flavoured water that has malic acid in instead of citric acid, so they appear to be fine. Check carefully on the list of ingredients before you buy though!!
 
Yeah, don't see why not, I'm off again all weekend this week so def plain sailing there. If I can repeat this weeks achievement next week, I only need to lose 2lb the week after to be at 13st for my birthday. Which would be amazing, because I know I'm going out for a meal so I'm expecting a gain but I'm sick of putting my life on hold, I'll just have to cut back again after my birthday and carry on with CD. I'm feeling pretty philosophical about it all now.

I spoke to my CDC about easing the pressure and she said I was doing the right thing. There's no urgency anymore, my health isn't at risk now and it's more for vanity than anything else, she was happy for me to have a few off plans days here and there over my birthday, so long as I get back on it and keep going afterwards.

NO PRESSURE, thats my new motto!!!
 
Totally, I'll be happy to keep losing anything really, because the inches are coming off faster.

Today my friend took me to one side, all serious and said.... 'The Face is back!' That made me smile, because since I've gained weight again my main focus has been to get my face back to how it looks in my profile pic, so I've got it everywhere, on my profiles, on my locker, in my diary... I know that sounds totally vain, and it probably is in fact lol, but thats my motivation.

After that I went and looked in the mirror and she's right, the face is back. I'm soooo happy, just need the body back now please.

:D....i ws doin reli well this week until 2dai n its a shme coz ma weigh in is on sunday...bt as i was sayin in ma thread u tink i cud lose wt i ate in the nx three days n plus i av been goin to the gym three tymz this week as welll so u tink that wud elp...i was on ss abt a yr n a half ago...so kinda cnt memba hw it goes i am hatin the smelly breath ...:( tink that is the onli dwn side to this diet...other then that it is orite.....i keep avin to brush ma teeth n i av got sum mouth spray bt dnt kno if its the rite one coz i swear it dnt last very long...i feel propa self conscious wen im out n abt nw,...coz ma breath lol..:$...i js wna lose ma handles on ma side lol n ma tummy n ma thighs....n i wna do it kinda quickly coz i kinda cnt afford it for that long...:(....got abt two stone to lose hw long u tink that wud tke i lose 4 pounds lst week frm 11.4 i went dwn to 11.0 i wna go dwn to abt 8 n a half....wt u tink??

Well done Surf H... I hope you don't mind but I read your diary every single day... I think your determination is just brilliant and you make me smile with your honesty.. you really do!! My hubby says it's my daily fix reading diaries LOL...I'm not weird honestly :)... just new to CD and learning so much from different people's experiences... it's a great forum for that.

You've done so well, and look amazing and you're inspirational.... You deserve to enjoy your birthday.. so have a good one when your day arrives :)
 
Sweet girl, my only real advice is to make sure you drink plenty of water, it helps a bit with the breath problem, and stops you from retaining water. My other tip is watch how much cardio you do at the gym, you should be aiming to do light weights to build lean muscle, muscle burns fat more efficiently, cardio when you're taking on normal amount of calories is great but when you're on a very low cal diet like Cambridge it can cause your body to hang onto it's fat stores, which is not what we want lol. You can expect to lose about a stone a month on CD Sole Source plan. Good luck and stick with it, it's worth it!

Tracee, no I don't mind at all, I'm the same, and if any of my ramblings help any one at all thats fab. I mostly write on here to get things out of my head space lol. I think far too much and it takes up too much room.;) To be honest I think it's helpful knowing that your aren't the only person in the whole world doing this, because believe me, at times it's really felt like that. I feel like I'm the only person dieting. And it's amazing what you pick up on by reading peoples diary's. I've made some fab friends on here and couldn't do it without them, so as far as I'm concerned the more the merrier xxx
