I've been off work since last April so I know how you feel about being off work for a while. The biggest thing I've had to learn is that it's OK to be ill and that my "guilt" about being off work and my continual desire to get back ASAP so as not to let people down etc was part of the reason I was struggling in the first place! I had to let all that go... including the superego part (my therapist's words) that wanted to take responsibility for everything work related.
You just have to force yourself to let it go and give yourself permission to take time to recover.
