Hoping to stay in control. Forgot to get weighed today, was up and out for work by 5.30am & the scales weren't in their usual place, we've had visitors staying for the last 3 weeks, hubby's daughter, partner & their daughter & they had used the scales to weigh their cases before heading back to Australia....It's been pretty hectic, not used to having so many people in the house at once!

Blimey, sounds like you've had your hands full. That's the hardest part , staying in control. It's easy to lose the focus when your attention is elsewhere and your frienemies lower your resolve. Today I was being bombarded with toblerone and doughnuts at work. On Friday it was home made cakes for a charity bake off, last Thursday it was home made cakes and Jamaican patties (I'm a spice person so this was impossible to resist) for a lady going on maternity leave...... Add the team social in with a " gun and slim line" ...........

You've done really well, was it hard with the visitors?
 
There are always going to be temptations to try and resist! I sounds like you've had more than your fair share of temptations this week...sometimes it's hard to stay strong isn't it.
Re the visitors, it was lovely seeing them but three weeks is really long! Very hectic and stressful (I'm used to peace and quiet), was tough getting woken in the night by a restless little girl and I don't much like getting woken up early on a morning when I'm not at work, all that aside though, like I say it was lovely to see them. Food wise it wasn't too bad, my step daughter is vegetarian so that fitted in nicely with green days for me, ate/drank a few things more than I would have usually but mainly stuck on track.

Thanks Zoe..I plan to stay at target/within target range forever and ever! Mind you after what I ate today I'm going to have to have some really good days to stay there! Tonights tea was really yummy as you will see from the photo :)

Had a picnic lunch, went to Runswick Bay beach with the grandkids.
L: Ham & cheese sandwiches made with w/m bread, crisps (5)

Hubby and I decided to go out for tea, our local pub has buy one get one for £1 on selected meals before 5pm. I fully intended to get chicken salad, however, I ended up with fish and chips...how did that happen?! Anyway, they were delicious

Basically they are plain fillets with a coating on, they do bbq and ginger chilli & lime (my favourite one). They are both syn free and are in the freezer section, I think they are usually around £2.49 for a pack of 4. If the offers are still on, Tesco had them at £1.50 a pack and Morrisons had 3 for £5 on frozen Quorn products. Well worth a try I think, they're quite tasty.
