Woo hoo, finally after weeks of STS, I'm pleased to announce that I've lost 1lb...I'm over the moon! :bliss:

Also Level 1 day 3 of the 30 day shred completed. :character00116:

Hexa: milk
Hexb: fruit & fibre, w/m bread

Breakfast: fruit & fibre with strawberries, banana & blueberries.

Lunch: w/m toast with tinned plum tomatoes. syn free yogurt.

Dinner: pork steak with carrots, baby sweetcorn and green beans & gravy (1 syn)
stewed rhubarb & custard (3 syns)

Well I surprised myself, I did the shred after my 12 hour shift, I fully expected that I would give it a miss, but I didn't & have now completed Level 1 - Day 4 :D


Green Day

Hexb: all bran golden crunch, 2 x aldi light cereal bars

Breakfast: golden crunch with sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries and 0% activia yogurt.

Lunch: chickpea dahl loaf with jacket potato and beans. 0% activia yogurt.

Dinner: quorn chilli topped with hexa cheese. muller f/f greek yogurt (0.5 syns)

Snacks: apple, 2 x plums, melon, 2 x light cereal bars, wine (6 syns)

I've never heard of a chickpea dahl loaf - is it free and where do you get them from? Diaries looking good x
 
Hi, chickpea dahl loaf is a slimming world recipe, it's the first time I've tried it this week, it's really easy to make, and tasty...if you like curry, free on green and e/e.
You need 1 tin of chickpea dahl, I got mine from Morrisons, I assume other supermarkets sell it too, 1 packet of batchelors mild curry savoury rice (cooked) and 3 eggs. You just mix them all together, put the mix into a loaf tin and cook in the oven until done....I think I cooked mine at about 180 degrees for about half an hour ish. :)

You're welcome Quins, and yes s/w certainly does work!

I much prefer being back on the red & green, I didn't feel comfortable with e/e, it just seems to go against everything that I'm used to, plus I missed having the 2nd hexb, also as we've discussed before, green days are so much easier for work days.
