Syns 'n Stuff - My Daily Food Diary

i'm sure you'll do fine Bubble! You've still been running around and getting exercise, haven't you? (Not sure, need to catch up on peoples diaries) You sound busy anyway!

I'm weighing in on Thursday, as long as I've been given the go-ahead to go back to work, as that's where my health trainer lady is... have no idea what to expect. Hopefully not a gain, but I'm still feeling fat... even since I've been doing this water and veg thing. :( We'll see.

Actually, yeah.... I haven't been getting as much exercise, being home from work, broken pedometer, and with the long weekend etc. Also, being told I have to stay away from work as this virus is "highly contagious" has made me want to shy away from being out in public to be honest, so i haven't done anything other than unavoidable shopping! Hopefully it will all be over tomorrow and I can get back into the swing of things.

So... food diary rules. If I remember something the next day that I didn't put in the previous days diary, am i totally obligated to confess/update my diary?? Just a hypothetical question... :cool:

Today:

B: Orange, banana, coffee milk sugar 2 syns.
L: Smoked salmon, quark, lemon & pepper on ryvita, topped with poached egg, next to a huge pile of spinach leaves (weighed out 80g) and some carrot and pepper sticks.
S: (made my salad first and then ate it as I prepped supper, too huge too bring to the table) Spinach salad with chopped satsuma, red pepper, celery, shredded carrot, cherry tomatoes, shredded babybel light and f/f dressing. Eggs baked in ham cups, SW chips, baked beans. Honkin' huge syn-free feast!!
My only bad was another Rice Krispie Square, 7 syns. Thank goodness those are gone now!!!

Still have about 200ml left before I hit 2 litres of water.

SO, so far:

Hex A; milk, one babybel
Hex B; ryvita x 2
Syns; 9
Water - 2 litres - almost!
Fruit veg - 10/10
Steps - hmm. Had a good dance in the kitchen today. :stickdance:

Its soooooo annoying - im with you there, im not feeling the sw love at the moment.
Why is it we put on so quickly but takes so long to get it off again?
Im trying a new tactic that i eat my 3 meals no picking in between then a small treat at night. (Doubt it will work)

Sending you hugs, im mega tearful this week so ill try not be too sentimental! Xxxx

Oh no, why are you feeling tearful Bubble? Hoping it will pass soon - you've been so UP lately! Maybe it's something a good cathartic cry in front of a cheesy chick-flick can sort? ((hugs))

Not sure what's up with me. Not teary and emotional... just, um... meh. And blah. And bleurgh.
Which can be even worse sometimes! Can't be arsed with much at the mo!

I have tho, made a promise to a friend that I will go for my first TKD grading next month. So that gives me something to aim for, and to focus on, as a goal. I'm not going to set any numbers for myself though. I just want to feel better again.
I'm not not only feeling fat again, I think my carpal tunnel syndrome is kicking in again, and I've got weird pains in my left wrist as well.

*WOE*

Ok, seriously folks, I promise not to come back on here and post sad and negative cr*p anymore. Just need an outlet I think! Should maybe start journalling again!

I was going over on my syns every night anyway, so have just gone right off it over the last few days.

However, I haven't chucked out my SW books and mags yet! I do want to get back on it, and hopefully will. Have had a good Tesco order delivered tonight, so will try to get back on track with my eating. Also, have got myself a bike now, yay! Just need to find time to ride it.

Balance is the key, I think - but with everything... I've just been a bit off kilter.

Glad to see you back hun - we are all struggling at the moment, but we can keep each other going, I'm expecting a gain on Friday cos I've been going crazily off plan at the weekends but I'm determined to keep going, I know I feel better on SW.
 
Okay here goes...

This morning I had coffee with milk and sugar, a banana and then later some SW quiche.
Lunch was just pasta (I made a bleu cheese sauce by microwaving and whisking a light cow blue triangle with a sploosh of milk and some quark until it was hot and smooth) while I was doing stuff in the kitchen. I planned on having an apple as well, but didn't get the chance!
Had a late afternoon mugshot to stop me from eating sweet stuff while cooking dinner... Had chicken, pasta, broc and carrots - mixed a bit of garlic-basil-ey quark with the pasta.
Then caved after supper and nibbled on some of the flapjack the kids had for their pudding.
Baby steps!
Have had about 1 litre of water so far today and a cup of coffee.
Let's see how this evening goes!
 
Alrighty, adding 1 small red wine, and 3 x ryvita (dark rye, yum) with homemade syn free hommous and 1 with another light blue/bleu cow cheese.

Now BED! Before I ransack the cupboards!

Ransacked the fridge instead! But damage was minimal, had a yummy apple crumble 0% Shape yogurt, mmmm.
Hope everyone is feeling good this morning! Work today, and TKD tonight do not sure how my food will pan out - prob lots of fruit and a mugshot or two!

Haven't posted yesterday's food!

Breakfast, coffee milk (HexA) sugar 2 syns, banana, apple.
Lunch, mugshot, satsuma
Snack, apple, satsuma
Dinner, poached egg, 1/2 can spaghetti hoops, nibble of SW quiche, nibble of cottage cheese, nibble of toast 1 syn

Then TKD - ka-POW!

Evening snacks, sparkle juice, Ryvita (HexB ) with light blue cow (HexA ), handful of onion ring crisps (5 syns) (thanks, hubby), couple handfuls of chocolate weetos (syns??), half a bag of bacon rashers (840 syns, at a guess, hahaha! )

I have been naughty again too... Wine, custard creams, crisps. Still trying when I can.
I need to, I've been waffling on and off plan for too long, and am now being reminded of why I started SW in the first place - uncomfortable in my clothes, carpal tunnel syndrome acting up, feeling sad and frumpy, which of course perpetuates more comfort eating.

I really want to break this vicious cycle!

Today's food;

Coffee milk sugar
Orange
2 eggs, beans, instant mash
Water
Vermicelli noodles and soy sauce
1 custard cream
Shape yogurt
Coffee milk sugar
Tea

Not looking like I'll hit 10 fruit and veg today!
 
How? How do we break the cycle? I cant see no answers at the mo.
Thanx for message on my thread. I will be around im just not on plan. Hubby has agreed i need to chill til after hols. Then if im ready get straight back on it. I know i will get fed up with crap food at some point soon. X

Thanks Bubble! Have just been super busy!

Things are the same ol' same ol' as far as diet goes. Great during the day. Snack, or sometimes binge at night. I KNOW I need to get my ass to bed early... and I usually mean to, but then end up staying up later than everyone else to do laundry, cleaning, etc, and eventually end up in the kitchen for a small "reward" or "nibble" before bed. And it goes from there.

I'm up another pound this week, and am really feeling bigger again, which I hate! I'm right back where I started! And beginning to worry that if I don't do something about it myself NOW, something else will end up forcing me to change my habits... y'know?

Anyway, will come back and ponder tomorrow or Sunday - tomorrow is my wee boys b-day BBQ, so,slightly off plan (loads of low syn food around though!) and trying to get organised for my wee girls b-day next week!

Have spent the day at work, and the evening cleaning, doing laundry, cooking, dusting, vacuuming, baking cakes, etc etc, so am now heading to bed so I can get a few hours kip before we get up and start the festivities!!!

Hope everyone is well... I miss being on here and reading everyones updates!! xoxo
