thanks :) so glad i went, decided to try and skip week three of the training programme as wasnt finding it much of a challange, was well prepared to fail at it n go back to week three but i am so chuffed to say that it paid off. felt much more life my level :) so i am a week closer to being a runner lol just need to make a decision on doing a 10k in september. i am now beginning to think i will regret not doing it, even if i do walk most of it....

feeling a bit down today, life is getting on top of me. just about to go and blast into some house work, do my hair and slap on some make up see if i can make myself feel better. and today is a down day, which i suppose is a good thing as i may have very weel eaten with my emotions, i am definately and emotional eater. anyway. no more feeling sorry for myself. well maybe a little bit longer whilst i pick myself u.

thanks for ur kind wishes, i would love a bath but i dont think my three, n two year old kids cud look after my 9 month old lol although maybe my four year old (today) nephew, who i also look after, might manage. doing hair and make up did help, also having a motivating down day so that helps too. trying to stay positive, i am sure you know what it is like when u just let things get on top of u when u have been doing so well to keep on top of them.

also, i have been reading up on fasting and it does look to have good health benefits so I am going to try incoperating proper fasting into my diet. try a 24 hour water fast ever so often, maybe once a week. just need to see when i can fit these in lol
 
pleased with todays down day, not the best i can do i dont think but then it was my nephews birthday and there was lots of party food but i mostly resisted! but i am pleased with it, nearly went for an early weigh but i am going to resist till sunday. i think. night shift tonight again, going to plan better for tomorrows up day. husband is going to treat me to a pick n mix from the german markets, they were in glasgow at christmas but i was on my vlcd diet so i couldnt have any n they came back to glasgow yesterday so he is buying me some this time around... :)
 
Re the fasting, we were going to give it ago a few weeks ago, not sure who did it successfully tho.

I'd be up for doing it, maybe on moday after my 2ups?

I have a food fast about once a week, not a total water fast as I couldn't do without my tea coffee, but I just have my milk allowance of 100/150 cals. I don't plan them though as I just go with how I am on a DD if I don't feel hungry I don't eat. I find them easy enough as sometimes on a DD I don't start to get hungry until I start eating ;)
 
thanks for ur advice on fastint, not sure i cud give up my tea n coffee either lol done a weigh in today, nidweek weigh ins, after a night shift r horrible dont know why i done it! so, waiting till sunday, definately! x

I usually do one on a Mon after my 2 UPs and it cancels out the gain after my 2 UPs and I am usually fed up of food by then !!

ok, so. my up day is more like a day off a diet! need to sort this out lol seems to be that my up days also coincide with my nights, i always seem to b working into an up day. gonna plan better for this, just need to work out what is best. i use it as an excuse to binge n when i was doing exante i cud do most of the shift with nothing at all. i think i will do my down day from teat time to tea on the nights i am working, so i will have a bowl of soup at aout 9 and hopefully that will curb the cravings before they start, i may also have another bowl at like 3 if i need to. for example. last night i had 1500 calories! between midnight and 6! bad bad bad. just beed to iron these things out x
 
I really wouldn't worry about your UP days, Dr J says to eat well until you are satisfied, you are not on a diet on a up day thats where the feast/famine bit comes in, I am not suggesting you eat 3000 cals every UP but unless you are I really wouldn't worry, my allowance is 2200 on an UP (up allowances are only a guide BTW) I usually eat at least that and def lots more on a weekend, its the DD's that are the key ;)
 
do u think? i have just calculated my average daily intake for the week as 1433 calories a day so not as bad as it cud have been but I am def gonna plan better. thought dr johnson said the first two weeks induction phase was important n sticking to calories were important, i havent anyway lol so nothing i can do about it now x thank u x
