T_T's (hopefully!) dimishing returns!

There's nothing worse than not being able to do anything when you're feeling rough.... Hopefully you will be over the worst of it by tomorrow and feeling a bit better x

On another note someone at our group said she drank like 5 litres of water before weigh in and then was confused why she had put on ?!
I couldn't even drink one litre!

Hah - bit silly of her! I had drunk loads of water during the day yesterday, but feeling better was more important than my weight on that one day. Hoping that a day of doing sweet FA will make me feel better! I have everything I need for during the day, may have to pop out for bits and bobs for dinner... although I do have quark, so could always use that instead of Greek yogurt for my sauce.

Still on the quiet side, but feeling considerably brighter. Just took a little stroll down to Tesco for some fresh air.

S - HEXB bread with half HEXA philidelphia and Marmite and a tin of WW tuna (2 syns)

Will have the other half of my HEXA as cheese on my pasta.

Alpro (5.5) - total syns for the day 7.5

Saturday! Hurrah for rugby (just a shame the F1 starts as well...) Will be sticking to diet coke in the pub and having a good day on plan. (just not quote sure what it will involve yet!)

B - blueberries, raspberries, banana and strawberries with fat free Greek yogurt.

So, lunch was quick bowl of left over pasta from last night.

I stuck to diet coke in the pub (apart from one rum and diet for 2.5 syns)

OH is drunk and hungry, so we're getting take away. I have the syns to spare for Chinese and will be careful to stick to about 10 max during the week. I am determined to lose that 2lbs and then some come Thursday!

Chinese was yummy! And off to the gym to burn off those extra calories this morning.

Booked for zumba and calorie killer again (going to make sure I stretch out properly afterwards!), Then a day of pottering around and planning. I have tomorrow booked off as holiday, so planning on going for a bit of a walk and pick up some bits in health food shops I don't normally get to! And then plenty of cooking before pilates tomorrow evening. Busy busy - so glad I'm feeling better, lots I want to get done.

B - blueberries, raspberries and strawberries with a free fruit yogurt and quark (need to go shopping... but it's a pretty tasty mix!)

Worked blooming hard in the gym this morning and really enjoyed both classes! Having a chilled afternoon with the rugby on in a bit.

Had a packet of sugar snaps after the gym (needed a quick fix of something)

Picked up a gorgeous antique brooch on the market (could have happily spend a lot of money there) and bits and bobs for lunch.

L - HEXB toast with HEXA LC triangles, Marmite and Quorn chicken slices. Sugar snaps, cherry tomatoes and carrot sticks. Will have some fruit and a mug shot in a bit.

D - pan fried lemon sole, crushed rosemary new potatoes, asparagus, green beans and tender stem broccoli (I am actually wishing the day away, because I can't wait for dinner!)

Dinner was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the sole, nice for a change.

Just had awesome dessert; pot of flavoured quark (1 syn), with white chocolate options (2 syns) and fresh raspberries and strawberries. Delicious! I really need to try a cheesecake recipe with the flavoured pots of quark.

Also have a Marks and Spencer guilt free snacking mint crunch bar (7 syns)

Total syns for the day - 10

Lemon sole sounds lovely. I have only ever had it in breadcrumbs or battered lol. May have to branch out. Sounds like you have had a fab weekend :)

I have, thank you. And I have tomorrow off work as well. I just seasoned with salt and pepper and a bit of lemon juice. It was lovely and really delicate.

You have sold it to me! Will definitely be trying lemon sole :) Have a good day tomorrow :)

You too. I love fish in general, but do tend to stick to salmon, because I'm lazy!

I love looking round markets etc too, can't wait for 'boot sales' to start up again, never know what bargains you will find!
Lemon sole 'does' sound good :)
I really need to try more fresh fish, but never get round to it

I don't eat meat, but my OH does, so fish is a good compromise for us! There was some gorgeous stuff on the stalls, lots of nice old glassware. I was sorely tempted to get another vintage perfume bottle to add to my collection, but I haven't even got them out on display at the moment, so seemed a bit silly.

Cheeky little two course breakfast for my day off this morning! (it was mostly because I realised I didn't have much speed food in for my fry up!)

B - small bowl of mixed berries with fat free Greek yogurt. Fried off the last of the crushed potatoes from last night, with spring onions, veggie bacon and a couple of eggs. Lush.

Going to have a quick cook book browse then off out to do a food shop at the places I never seem to get to! Planning on trying to get to a Lidl or Aldi as well.

Lots of food shopping done! Last few bits to pick up (I couldn't carry a bag of spuds back as well as everything else!) Going to get the last bits then do some cooking.

Going to make this soup for lunches at work: Flush The Fat Away Vegetable Soup

And probably a batch of mini quiches.

L - low fat super noodles with lots of veg. Grapes.

Not sure what we're having for dinner yet... will see what OH fancies. Will need to be something fairly quick and easy as I'm at pilates this evening.

Right, soup simmering away and smelling lovely (I didn't have the right sort of beans... so have substituted!) Prep done for quiches, so about to get them in the oven.

I realised I should probably try and eat something before Pilates tonight, so just had my HEXB toast with HEXA LC light and marmite. And a cherry bakewell Alpen light (3 syns)

Awesome Pilates class. I need to work on my form... and apparently my balance, if today was anything to go by!

D - Oven baked salmon (from Lidl - amazing!) with loads of veg and potatoes.

Going to have flavoured quark (1) with fresh fruit and Options (2 syns) and a lemon drizzle Alpen light (3)

Total syns for the day: 9
