Thank you. It's odd to be excited, but I'm just glad I know what's happening and when now.

Just back from Birmingham! Absolutely off plan, celebrating my cousin's 40th last night. Party was so much fun and then went out afterwards. I did walk loads though, so that might counter balance.... (although I doubt it!) Back on plan tomorrow

Here we are, back at Monday! I'm working today, 8.30-4.30, would be a lot better if my feet weren't still super sore from wearng heels.

B - carrot oatmeal with cinnamon pears (HEXB)

L - salad

D - giant cous cous, with roasted veg and prawns (I think!)

Syns to and HEXA will be slotted in somewhere
 
I love wearing heels but my feet always pay for it the next day!!
 
I totally hate heels! I am terrible for turning my ankles - which I didn't actually do on Saturday - but we walked miles and apparently there was lots of dancing. Hectic day at work today, I've done almost 20l steps already
 
Cous cous and prawns sound very yummy indeed. *sigh* sometimes I do wish I ate bread, I could murder a croissant :eek:

aw, sorry - didn't mean to create food envy! It was good, but not sure it was really worth an entire days syns.

The prawns and cous cous was delicious - added roast peppers, onions and aubergine as well
 
Weekend plus a day on my feet yesterday really caught up with me; had a lie in the this morning and I've been doing some admin bits for placement. Going to head up to uni in a bit and get some work done. I've had a chat with my dissertation supervisor, and I will be applying for extenuating circumstances for an extension, but I don't want to use that as an excuse not to do work now.

B - carrot oatmeal with cinnamon pears (HEXB)

L - will pick up something from the canteen on campus - probably a jacket potato with beans and salad.

D - tuna pasta (HEXA of cheese)

Will fit syns in during the day.
 
Had a Mugshot before heading up to uni, so may not bother with a jacket potato. Will see how I feel in a bit. Got a carrier bag FULL of fruit from the veg stall on campus, so that will keep me going, and only set me back a fiver! Syns -Freddo (5) and a Kinder bar (6) - leaves me a little to play with if I do want a packet of crisps later
 
oopps - got caught up working and forgot the canteen closes early! So no jacket potato, but that's ok. Had plenty of fruit to keep me going. Will grab a low syn packet of crisps, meaning a total for the day of either 14.5 or 15.
 
Had a great riding lesson last night; next week will be my last for a while I suppose. Have a dissertation research methods workshop today, then going to get some more work done at uni.

B - carrot oatmeal with cinnamon spiced plums and pear.

Not sure what we're having for the rest of the day yet!
 
Only two of us turned up for the session! But it is proving useful.

L- salad bar and a caramel Freddo (4.5)
 
Absolutely exhausted and kidney pain is getting to me today. I had a call from the hospital and I have to go in tomorrow at 9.15 for pre-op tests. I was cold and hungry when I got home, so made up some instant mash with my HEXA of LC light.

D - I just don't have the energy to cook, so we're going to roast some veg and picked up a Count on Us spinach and ricotta cannelloni from M&S (6.5 syns)

Total syns for the day: 11

TBH - I just wanted to order takeaway, but OH convinced me otherwise.

Thanks Ruth - really enjoyed the cannelloni, and will be buying again. There's no way I could have made something as good (and cheesy) for those syns! It is starting to feel a bit real now, and feeling a bit overwhelmed. It's also weird knowing that tomorrow is probably to be my last WI for a while. I've asked my consultant to book me off for three weeks - with recovery time and moving house, it looks sensible.
 
Up early this morning, ready to go to hospital for pre-op. Feeling very tired again, just don't seem to be sleeping well at all.

B - fresh fruit.

D - pasta bake (HEXA of cheese)

I'll grab something for lunch, I think I might work from home today, just getting some survey design work done for my placement. I haven't heard whether they want me to go in or anything. Then WI this evening
