T_T's (hopefully!) dimishing returns!

Big gain, but it was deserved! I ate everything and anything today- so it may also be a bit of a false reading. I don't know when I'll next be back at group, what with post-op recovery

Sorry - been kind of AWOL recently. Not really on plan at the moment, with the stress of hospital, packing and moving all looming over me! I've made some sensible choices. Just want to get the move and hospital out of the way, then I'll refocus

Hello lovely.
Hope you are recovering from your op'. Look after yourself, and good luck with the move! xx

Hiya, thanks Caz. Hospital and op went well, I was let out on Saturday. But having to take things very slowly, which is frustrating! I am not on plan at all, but not worrying too much at the moment.

It's brilliant to hear that you're doing so well! I am really pleased, I'm sure that you will get back to it when you can but I imagine that it's little steps.
Take care of yourself!

Thanks Ruth. Little steps, and lots of resting! Which is very frustrating when there's a house to unpack! I can't walk very far/do very much at the moment, so I'm not going to group for the next few weeks. I will slowly get myself back on plan as I get more active, and hopefully minimize the damage before I get back to group!

Ok - so I've been off plan since the operation. I know that I've put weight on, so I've decided that I need to go back to group tomorrow. I think it will help me to refocus. I have more energy, so should be fine to make that my walk for the day.

8lbs on over the three weeks. Really happy,as expected about double that! This weekend will be flexible; my sister's down and it's Harbourside Festival. But back to it 100% from Monday

That's very good! Glad to hear that you're on the mend! The weekend sounds lovely :) hope that you enjoy it!!

8lbs is not bad at all. Considering everything that has happened over the last few weeks. That gain will be gone in no time, and I can't see it taking long for you to be back on track x

Thanks ladies. I feel positive about getting back on plan. Last of the steri-strips are off now, back to do a few hours at my placement next week. Will be taking things slowly, so I don't get over-tired. But should be able to walk a bit more as well.

Just be careful sweetie x

Ended up staying at home and doing some work from here yesterday, because I was tired. Also feels like some of the deeper internal bruising is coming out. Despite a lazy day, I feel exhausted today, but I am going to pop down to my placement in a bit, just to catch up on what's happening. Today I am going to be back on plan 100% - yesterday was ok-ish, but not great.

B - banana, raspberries, blueberries and pear with fat free Greek yogurt.

L - Some form of salad I think?!

D - TBC

Today, I am mostly eating fruit! It's warm out there. Also had 2 x Alpen lights for my HEXB.

D - watermelon, rocket and mint salad, with a HEXA of feta.

Realised I've had zero syns, so I'm having a back of Portlebay popcorn (6 syns)

Edited to add: will use olive oil spray on the tuna steaks, so total for the day will be 6.5 syns. I am fed up of frylight ruining my pans and baking trays.

At 9am, it was already 24 degrees in our flat! I'm feeling wrecked again today, so having an easy going day. Will do a bit of placement work, and mostly chill out.

B - raspberries, blueberries, banana and pear with fat free Greek yogurt. Crumbled an Alpen light over the top: not sure whether that will be half a HEXB or syned yet, but will update later

L - prawn and salmon salad (0.5 syns for the maple prawns) with hard boiled eggs.

D - TBC.

I've got plenty of fruit to snack on this afternoon. And I think I'll have another Alpen light for my HEXB

D - sweet potato wedges (0.5 syns for olive oil spray), Quorn pepper steak and salad (HEXA of cheese)

Then 2 x meringue nests (this either works out at 6 syns or 5 syns... bit contentious! Website says 3 each though, so I shall agree with them to be safe) with sweetened quark and berries.

Total syns for the day:7

1lb on last night - kind of expected, given the heavy weekend. Determined to focus properly now.

B - fresh fruit and yogurt.

L - salmon and hard boiled egg salad.

D - TBC

It's my best friends welcome home drinks tonight, so will be out. I am planning to stick to spiced rum and diet coke (2.5 syns) - which will also be cheaper than gin and slim.
