L - salad with Mccains jacket potato (1) and HEXA of LC light triangles. HEXB cereal bars. Also had another bag of popcorn (2)

D - 3 syns for the rice, 0.5 for olive oil.

Mug cake for pudding again! Yup, bit like a chocolate omelette, but I like it (2)

Total syns for the day: 10.5

Feeling a bit better today, but still going to take it easy. Whatever bug it is, on top of op recovery has make me absolutely exhausted.

B - fresh fruit.

L - not sure, probably salad of some sort.

D- veggie shepherds pie

Will add syns and healthy extras in later.
 
Late lunch - salad with hard boiled eggs and maple prawns (0.5 syns for half the pack)

D - veggie cottage pie (0.5 syns for oil)

Then pudding I think will be back to Eaton Mess - not sure yet!

HEXA and B will be on ryvita and LC light triangles
 
Also decided on another packet of popcorn (2) and will have two meringues with my pudding later (8)

So total syns for the day will be: 13
 
Slight change of dinner and healthy extra plans! Hairdresser can fit me in this evening, so I will be going to see him.

D will be tuna pasta instead, with HEXA of cheese (can trust OH to deal with that!)

And had cereal bars for my HEXB

Thanks Mini! Feeling much brighter today. As much as I hate it, a few days of rest has done the trick!
 
Happy hump day everyone! Hoping that the weather might finally be a bit better today.... it looks slightly brighter, but that isn't saying a lot after yesterday!

B - strawberries and vanilla Activia yogurt.

L - prawn and egg salad (0.5 syns for prawns)

D - probably giant couscous with roasted veg and hot smoked salmon....

Will work on syns etc during the day
 
Well, typical British summer, we've had a bit of every season today. At least there was some nice sunshine.... between the downpours!

D - will be half a syn for olive oil.

Ooo a hot sauce, how nice! This popcorn also sounds interesting too! Do you make it yourself?! Or is it a pre sweetened pack of that makes sense?

It was lush - just cooked off red onions and celery with chili powder. Added red wine stock cube and a small tin of tomatoes plus some tabasco, then let it bubble and reduce for about 40 minutes. Delicious!

The popcorn is pre-packaged - it's the Walkers Sun Bites one.

I've only tried the sweet and salty - these are the large bags, but the multipack (14g!?) bags are on syns online at 2 syns each.

Thanks Ruth. 1.5lbs off- at least the scales are going down again. I can't wait to get back into the gym- spoke to the nurse today and she said I can try taking things slowly, but have to be very careful!
 
Yay Friday! Plan is to head up to uni and try and do a bit of work again today. No pressure of deadlines, but good to be doing bits and pieces I think.
Forgot to ask OH to buy fruit, so breakfast was a bit of a scramble this morning! Not too worried, because I know most of my snacks will be fruit/veg based.

B - HEXB sweet onion Ryvita (SO good; why hadn't I had them before?!) with HEXA LC light triangles, cherry tomatoes and sugar snaps. Banana.

L - got a bit of pasta, and a bit of couscous left, so that'll do me for lunch! We'll call it half a syn, for oil used.

D - I think veggie cottage pie, again 0.5 for oil.

Will snack on fruit during the day. And will take a bag of popcorn with me (2). I am considering flexi-syning tonight, to have a few drinks whilst we watch the opening ceremony. Not decided yet!
 
oops just seen that the popcorn is actually 2.5 syns per bag! Not sure if it's changed recently, or if I had a mad five minutes when I first checked (the latter is probably more likely....)

Up at uni, with a bag full of fruit and veg bits to snack on. Got a whole IT room to myself, which is rather nice. Now to actually get some work done!
