Take 2! My New IF Journey

Yeah the old 24 hour fast is a good one carrot and as I found the losses were actually better on it than on UD/DD, I think it's something to do with not having the UUAD mentality or something but actually I lost most of my weight doing that and the scale bounces were really quite minimal, your exercise tired me out just reading that, well done you!

Its so nice to have something positive to post for change. Planning my next 24hour fast from 6pm Thursday until 6pm Friday and then weigh in Saturday morning. Fingers crossed.

I have done a lot of exercise today. I did Day 2 of week one C25K and then i did another 3hours walking. Got well over 25,000 steps on my fitbit and according to that i have walked over 10miles in total today. Oh and 30 squats whilst on my vibrating plate. I did go over my maximum calories by 111 but according to my fitbit i have burned off 851 calories so i'm hoping it will all work out fine :)

I'm wondering whether this sudden acceleration in exercise will hinder my weight loss this week? I know some people have experienced weight gains when they first take up exercise... I will see on Saturday morning.

Not done as much exercise today. Just 5miles and forgot to do my weights session! I'm currently 4hours into my 24hour fast and i'm bored! I really want to eat. Think its because the other half is here so i can't do the stuff i normally would to take my mind of eating. Not to mention the fact he's just about to eat a packet of sodding crisps next to me! I'm not hungry mind. I'm just bored!!!! Roll on 6.15 tomorrow night!
 
Another fast completed and another great exercise day. Nearly walked 10miles in total according to my fitbit of which 6.13miles was done as exercise. Just checked my calorie intake and it averages out at 1523 daily, however if i subtract the calories burned from my total it works out as an average of 944 daily which is a lot less.

Weigh in tomorrow. I don't know what to expect really. I want a loss but i've done a lot of extra exercise this week which i know can lead to a gain... Just hoping the two fasts will help. Will know tomorrow i guess.

So my week has gone like this. I have done 2 24hour fasts and stayed within my calorie limit on the other days. Exercise wise i've been a machine!!!!! I've done between 12,000 and 26,000 steps per day, completed week one of the C25K programme, done 245 squats as part of beginners squat programme, 2 brief kettlebell sessions and walked just over 30miles for exercise.

So plan for this week is more of the same. However i have to go into the office Monday and Wednesday this week which means i won't have as much time to exercise on those days but hopefully i'll be able to make it on the days i'm not at work.
 
That's great! You defiantly worked hard - so the loss is well deserved.

I'm taking a well deserved rest day today and then back to it tomorrow evening. I'm almost annoyed that i have to go into the office tomorrow as it will limit the amount of time i have for walking! How daft is that!
 
Another successful 24hour fast completed. I should have been starting my fast tonight and finishing tomorrow but me and my partner are going to see Ed Byrne tomorrow night so i did my fast from yesterday evening to today. I was in the office all day so didn't get a chance to do as much exercise as i would have liked. I've done 3.37miles walking, Week Two Session One of C25K and various kettlebell swings. Hopefully will get the chance to do a bit more tomorrow.
 
God i am so tired today. Went to see Ed Byrne Live at the Barbican York yesterday which meant i slept at my partner so had to get up at 5.30 and leave for work at 6am. No problems i thought. Once there i'll let myself in, crank up the radiators, grab a coffee and spend the early hours preparing for the event i was presenting at. But it turns out that in the 7 months i was off ill the main door shutters had broken and been replaced which meant a new key was needed. People had forgotten to tell me because it had happened so early in my sickness. Fortunately one of my colleague turns up slightly earlier than usual but i still had to sit in my car for 20mins outside the building.

Completed Week Two of the C25K but found it quite hard so going to repeat it next week instead. Still managed to get in nearly 9miles of walking today and have a planned fast from 6pm tomorrow until 6pm Friday and then Saturday i get weighed again. Hoping for 2lbs as this would give me my half stone. I'm housing sitting for my brother from tomorrow until Tuesday afternoon and i'm not sure i'm going to get as much exercise in as i won't have access to my treadmill. I'll actually have to go outside walking and in this weather, who the hell wants to???? I may have to just do jogging laps around this living room!
 
Not as good food or exercise wise today. Have arrived at my brothers and had a quick look around and just don't fancy the thought of walking about here alone. Felt very out of sorts and really miss my treadmill. Didn't even manage to get my fast started! It's not looking good for weigh day on Saturday.

Not sure how my weigh in will go tomorrow. Didn't have a great day food and exercise wise yesterday. Today i still didn't get out to do any exercise but instead i paced up and down my brother's living room in order to hit my steps for today. Bit boring but still nice to be a little active. I fasted from 10pm last night until 7 or 8pm (can't remember) today so didn't quite get in another 24hour fast. Couldn't walk anywhere else in the house due to the builders being about. As usual i've worked out my calorie averages for the week. My daily average came to 1534 cals which i'm pretty sure is too high but if i subtract my calories burned for the week and then work out my daily average it comes to 1016 cals. It's 200 a day more than i think i did last week which resulted in my 3lb loss. I'm thinking that my binge yesterday will have completely ruined any prospects of weight loss this week. Shame really as i only need 2lbs to get my first half stone off. We'll see tomorrow. I even fetched my own scales from home!
 
Had high hopes for weigh in this morning. Must have gone to the toilet 4 times before i got on the scales so was gutted to discover i've gained 1lb! Seems so unfair. Oh well. I'll just continue as normal and keep my fingers crossed for next week.

I had an almost successful 24hour fast today! We had tea a lot later than we usually do so i stopped eating at 8.30pm rather than 6.30 but then completely forgot i was fasting and ate a chocolate digestive! But other than that i stayed off food until 8.30pm today. Not done much exercise today, wasn't feeling well this morning. Fingers crossed for more tomorrow.
