Morning all! Mr Taz had an early start this morning so we can get to Pompey in good time so he woke me up at 4am and I couldn't get back to sleep for an hour. When I woke it was half 8!!! So I missed swimming this morning I am packed and ready to go, just waiting for Mr Taz to get back then we will have lunch, get the Stone's and get going! Woo hoo! It should be a great weekend! Looking forward to seeing Jools on Sunday too x

It was lovely to see you too Jools! Yes we found the car this time, hope you didn't have any trouble finding yours!!! We are all home safe and sound, no snow here though I will be off to bed very soon ready to get to work for 3.45am

Grrrrrrr I knew I shouldn't have jinxed it! All was quiet for the first few hours but I was the only spare crew. Within a short space of time things started to go wrong, firstly a cable problem near London that didn't affect me then a points failure at Bath which had the potential to mess up my day........

And it did!!!

I went to the ticket hall to help out and after just half an hour I was called to work a train. I unhappily worked it then went to get breakfast. As soon as I got back I was called to work yet another train! So I had to have my breakfast on the train and got back just an hour before the end of my day.

Now, I was planning on going to the post office to pick up a parcel but the collection point closes at 1pm and my train didn't get back til half 12. So I got my mate (who's train I'd had to work) to phone up for permission for me to go then we jumped in my car and hot footed it to the post office. We got there at 12.58!!! As my local office doesn't have any parking I ejected my friend so she could get it for me. Job done!

I have a bit of a lie in tomorrow, don't start til 5.28am!
