Taz's diary - Need to do this!

That's not good about New Look.

I think they should make finance a mandatory lesson at school too, then I might not be in the mess I'm in :-(

Taz I have to agree about newlook I have a pair of black bootlegs got just before xmas and they are tight on the legs too
and as for tops its hard to get them over the arms even my size 12 friend has problems

I actually tried a coat on 3 sizes bigger than I now am and it was huge around but in the arms and just up around the shoulders it was tight - how stupid is that? x

I know this sounds really silly Taz but over the years I have often found that black jeans are tighter/smaller than the blue ones. It may be that the sizing is the same but blue fabric has more give. Whatever it is, that is what I have found x

Gem its not a silly thing to have observed often the darker the dye the smaller the item its the same with bras and is known in good lingerie shops
dark bras fit tighter than the paler ones and there are minute differences :) so same bra in black and white can have very different fits (no its not april fools)

It's interesting isn't it. Now, if we've observed this what on earth is wrong with the people who make a living in the clothing industry - WAKE UP YOU GUYS AND KEEP UP WITH US GIRLS x

Yes that is true Gem, I was actually told this in New Look when I first bought jeans in there that if I was at the top end of the size to go for the lighter jeans as they had more give whereas the darker they were the tighter they would be. I didn't expect them to be THAT tight though! I went into Asda Homestore this evening and found a pair of light blue ones in the sale for £4 so I am hoping they will fit!

Taz except for the small upper arms on some things :):)

hope you are in less pain today
did you go to the docs (I may have missed the post) just wondered what the outcome was

Yes H - she went to the doc and it's a waiting game for her as it's soft tissue damage which can take an age to repair x

As Gem says, I did go and there's no quick fix :( As I have a connective tissue disorder I did more damage when I fell than a 'normal' person would have

oh Taz so sorry to hear that
have they been able to help with pain relief or would that be counter productive in the fact that you wont be so aware of the damage

They said I won't do any more damage, I am taking codeine at night so I can sleep better. The pain is getting less slowly but still very much there
