my mate at work who's in her late 40's has just found out from her dad that he's a naturist!!! lol

she didn't have a clue until last night over the phone when he told her he was visiting the new forest and would visit them whilst he's down here. she offered to visit him at the campsite they're staying at ...then he confessed!!! lol

Gosh... how embarrasing is that, Noooooo can't even bear to think about it.... and how do u look at them on their next visit..... defo TMI from the daddy!!!!!

Ha Ha PMSL..... I honestly can't even bear to think about it.... LOL feel sorry for my kids when they get older.... not that i'm a naturist or anything.... lol just like to have a laugh... can imagine i'll make them cringe a few times x

LOl we ought to have a party now Taz is safely tucked up in bed:party0023::party0023:!!!! I'm sure theres half the omelette somewhere x :D

Karen, that is so funny. I really feel sorry for your friend. There are some things kids don't need to know about their parents! I remember when my mum used to be a youth worker and she had loads of packs of condoms in the kitchen (well that was her excuse anyway!) and one day she was a little late getting ready to take us to school so we pegged all the packs on the washing line. We had fairly low fences at that time and all the neighbours were leaving for the day! My mother went a very pretty colour!
 
Well I slept a little later this morning. I have taken all the dry washing off the airer and put it away. I have put the over night load out and the next load is in. I have had an Alpen light for breakfast and just drinking my first green tea of the day. WI tonight, yesterday it wasn't looking too good but it wasn't looking so bad this morning. I have no idea which way it is going to go tonight but I really could do with a loss especially as I have a few food related events this week and a drinking event tomorrow!

How is everyone this morning?
 
Drinking event? could that be anything to do with meeting your brother? Does he enjoy the odd drink then? x
 
Yeah he is quite a drinker! He works hard and rewards himself well. It would be rude to spend an evening with him and not join in with the odd drink.

I can understand how your Mum went a funny colour Taz. I could tell some stories about the things MY kids did. I can relate to the condom thing though - I've done some youth work in my time. x

Oh no not another one! Ha ha.

Well I got my fingers crossed for WI tonight but the shows not over til the fat girl steps on the scales! My scales are fairly accurate but I am hoping to get a new set, all singing all dancing scales that do everything except make you a cup of tea!

i'm sure you'lll be fine... i'm just having a coffeee.... than gonna get girls off to school... pop into sainsburys.... and than do the buffet with OH for 25 folks... so bz bz..... look forward to puttin my feet up later... btu i have neglected housework!!!!!!!!! so gonna have to get it doen soooooon x

I have just realised I have run out of sparkling water and I can't be arsed to go to the shops! Mainly cus if I go to the shops I won't JUST get my water I would get naughties too!
 
Taz - I don't think you are the fat girl any more - 51lbs gone and beautiful in a wedding dress. My scales do some interesting things but they don't make the tea either. There must have been something wrong with them this week too cos they didn't move :mad:
Hope you get your new scales soon :)
 
Mine are being kind to me this morning. Even after my Alpen light and green tea they are still saying the same as when I got up this morning which is good. The only thing that stands between me and WI is a huge bowl of pasta, another Alpen light and more green tea. And some water. I don't think I can avoid that trip to the shops now as I have just realised that I have run out of olive oil for my pasta. Grrrrrrrrr
 
That's ok Taz. The walk will use some calories x
