Pleased about that !! Been for a jog now cleaning and helping a friend put together a table ( could be interesting 2 blondes ! )

afternoon ladies, how are we all doing this afternoon, ive had porridge, and a shake, that sounds soooo wrong lol!! and copius amounts of water and black tea, ive even cooked the kids their dinners and didnt eat any!!!

yeah i love the apple and cinnamon, not too keen on the original and not tried the maple and pecan, but going to try them after my next visit!

Hello everyone, I am hopign you dont mind me joining :stickdance:

I went to see CDC for the first time last nightand got my bits to start today, so far i haev had the maple and pecan porridge(i had to throw it away!!), so i had choc mint shake instead! for lunch i have had a mango shake for lunch. I actually cant stop thinking about food......!! :(

Never mind im sure it will get better and hopefully with these forums it helps, it looks like a very supportive place to be :)

Look forward to chatting to everyone and sharing moral support!!! lol xx
 
im on day 8 and feeling great hun all you think about the first 5-6 days is food but you will find you forget about being on the diet and food it gets easier every day :) x

Hey welcome to the team :) the porridge is definitely better blended. I hated it the first time but like it now. It does get easier, but it gets harder first - stick with it because the results are amazing...
 
i cant eat the porridge if its blended, i like a bit of texture! Funny how peoples preferences are so different isnt it!!

Not sure about the mango, cant stand them as a fruit, so dont think i'll try that 1!!

i found it had no texture even though it wasnt blended!!! haha mind you i was probably expecting oat so simple golden syrup...yummmm in my dreams!! I wonder if i will like the other flavours? i will have to try them! do you generally try to have porridge just in the morning and shake/soup for lunch and dinner? I am new to this so please forgive the stupid questions! i know tonight is going to be tough watching my man eat his dinner, i might hae a bath while he eats with music on so i cant hear either :cry:xx
 
i couldnt get away with the soups last time, maybe becasue i wasnt 'ready' to stick to it 100%... i love the porridge on a morning, makes me feel like ive actually EATEN something, if you know what i mean!! im going to give the soups a try and a shake for tea, im going to get 1 of each flavour and see what i like, trial and error i think! plus my cdc said i can change what i dont like!!

There's no stupid questions you could ask, we've all been there and had to start somewhere!

Morning all

Hope you're all doing ok. I'm good. Been the docs this morning to get a prescription to have the rod fitted and asked for a look at my weight history whilst i was there.... makes intersting reading. Lowest i weighed in with them was at 10-7 when i was about 21/22 ish. Nice to know the weight where i last felt carefree though x

Hi Hun...glad your doing ok, tried to "quote" your reply to me but couldn't lol...iv never done SS started this on step 2 and did SS+ for a week after I got back from the isle of man! I'm back on step 2 now so gonna give it a few more weeks then have a re think! Been sent home from work at luck time, I'm in agony with bloody toothache :( hurts like hell, drinking my shakes and water is killing me! Feeling proper sorry for myself today :( xx

Hmmm, iv never tried the porridge yet, was actually gonna try one tonight for my supper but don't think I'll bother now lol xx

fruits of the forest & toffee and walnut are my faves :) chocolate orange is also nice hot x
 
think i might have to try toffee and walnut going to try the orange one tomorro but my fav are deff choc mint and choc x

:( hope you feel better soon - think that moving to a higher step might be the trick for you, but see how you go x
