Woohoo !!!! Excellent, well done on your 7 days on plan and indeed your half pound too. I like the sound of this weeks meals, I need to do some planning myself so I may be pinching meal ideas..... which has me thinking about the tex-mex again :)

Have a fab week ;)

Honestly that tex mex is so good. I have been posting on the honk if your 100% OP thread and it has me thinking about when i did star charts. I am trying to focus on how many consecutive days I can be OP instead of the number on the scales .

Where are you going for your Indian? I'm Always looking out for tasty local restaurants. Have you tried the one in the village?

How's things going? I'm still struggling with private messages to you for some reason. I got yours but haven't been able to reply, nor can I find you on Facebook still! Thanks for the sausage info though. I've had a run of bad weeks but I feel like I've turned it around this week and am trying green days for the first time ever. Hope all is well, x

Hi Kelly annoying we can't find each other on facebook LOL when we are practically neighbours !! We are going to the indian in spondon, it is nice I think it is a bit pricy but the service is excellent and the food good. I LOVE green days but then i only eat meat once a week at the most these days.

We are having asda's meat free meat balls for dinner in a spicy tomato sauce

Take care

Teresa

I have had an idea today I had my lunch from a salad bar today and really enjoyed the combo of different salads so I thought i would make myself a mini salad bar in my fridge to help myself to during the week

Lettuce
Tomatoes
sweetcorn
cucumber
peppers
beetroot
couscous salad
sw coleslaw
hard boiled eggs
pasta salad

If this is all ready prepared and in containers I can than make healthy salad bar selections each day !

Ooh i really like that idea might have to steal that! What's in the Coleslaw? xx

I buy the bag of coleslaw mix from asda for 50 p and mix in 2 tblsps of extra light mayo and as much fromage frais or yogurt as needed, italian seasoning or whatever spices you prefer and salt and pepper. Nice if you make it ahead of time to have the spices blend in.

I am thinking

ainslely harriot thai couscous (2 syns)
sw coleslaw (1 syn)
Eggs and veggies all free
Pasta salad with veggies and 2 tblsp of sweet chilli sauce (3 syns)

This is enough for 3 or 4 days of generous salad bar all for 6 syns so never more than 2 syns per day :)

I like this idea too :) Its lovely to have it all prepared. Plus it reminds me of a trip to the harvester !!! I might suggest this to hubby tonight (not the trip to harvester).

Well done for staying in target range :) The loss will show itself next week !

Hows this week going Teresa ??? Hope all is going well. Thanks for popping by with a lovely soup recipe :)

I must admit I have a hankering for lots of soups this week too, I just need to get in the kitchen and make them. I have made red lentil, chickpea and chilli soup tonight. Tomorrow I'm trying the tomato one that you suggested and also a beetroot and red cabbage one (??!!??) :)
