Mum made the carrot sb cake with lemon 'icing' I could easily eat the entire thing if I made it myself. So yummy.

HEXB - 2 x wholemeal bread

Brekkie - scan bran cake with fruit

Dinner - Toasted wholemeal with bacon and egg

Tea - Spag Bol with salad

Snacks - None

Drinks - Tea, Pepsi Max

Syns - Scan bran (2.5) Sugar (2) Flora (2) Total 6.5

Well ladies I'm definitely considering buying the much sought after scan bran at my weigh in on Monday, question is, how many lacks do I need and for a beginner what flavour should I start with? For me it'll be nice to see the poo fairy this week .. Xxx

They are all simple to make hunni - I started off with a curly wurly one which would be 11 syns if you dont count the scan bran as your healthy extra. Since then pretty much anything goes lol ive tried crunchie, mint, strawberry, doing the lemon one tomorrow. Just give a shout if your stuck anyone will help you x


Your basics are eggs, sweetener, chocolate options or cocoa powder then the rest is your choice. Dont forget if you use fruit you will have to syn it chick x

Thanks Texty, is that why people are serving it with fruit then as opposed to inside it, good idea me thinks. I've got some chocolate coconut options in the cupboard should I try that and then do I need to out yogurt in it or serve it with yogurt? Xx

You could add either a coconut greek muller or some coconut essence, either would be fine. I have also been using 0% ff yogurt for my toppings, add a little flavouring to it and then spread it over like icing
