Hi Guys, lost 2lb at wi today, going to put todays superfree food on, couldn't get on computer for the last few days, had hospital appointments with hubby and myself, but still been on plan and exercising daily.

just checked my new book. They are listed as free foods on ee and green but they are not superfree :sigh:

Sorryeee:D everyone, they are included in a recipie for Super speed soup that I got from my C, they certainly (especailly the pearl barley) make the soup more palitable
 
No worries karnak! I only learn through things like this. reading in a book just doesnt stick in my head :p

The soup sounds yummy though! Will have to try it out (especially when i get my slow cooker. yum!)
 
I add some Garam Masala and fresh coriander to it and its really nice.

At Chrismas I also discovered, low fat cottage cheese blitzed with smoked salmon trimmings a little lemon and black pepper, - free, and very yummy (if you like fish) on carrot sticks. No super free or super speed in it but yummy all the same:D
 
mmmmm sounds lush. And the carrots (and maybe peppers, cucumber and celery sticks) could count for the superfree anyway! quids in methinks! :D
 
My veg stew was yummy!!!! I enjoyed it so much i felt the need toc ome on here and share. I'm having a hungry day today (due to lack of sleep last night). I'm pleased to say my veg stew was delicious and packed full of superfree veg and a small handful of lentils to thicken.
I literally chopped all the veg threw it in the pan with 2 stock cubes a tin of toms and mixed herbs. I'm going to make another pan full at the weekend.
It's really helped me get through the day without going over my sins. I've had 11 sins so far today. I've used more than yesterday but i'm pleased not to have given in and gorged on bread and crisps!

I did the meat ball and chunky veg casserole recipe on slimming world home page the other evening- its really simple and tasty and all free on EE.

Stew sounds delicious, do you have to soak the lentils first over night or just a couple of hours. Well done on not gorging on bread and crisps xx

I'd like to join the six stone thread please. Prior to xmas i joined slimming world online and lost 9 pounds but unfortunately I put on 6 3/4 lbs over xmas. I've not done a week since the gain but decided to join at the local group instead of online and had my first weigh in last night. Luckily i have lost 3 pound of my xmas gain so far this week and it was an evening weigh in. So i'm starting at 15 stone 4 1/2 pounds. I'd like to get to 9 1/2 stone so i've a long way to go.
I'm feeling motivated but i'm really hungry today... so going to go and make a huge pan of free veg stew.

Now, I am also on SW, started at 16.10 last year and now 15.5, and after reading this post have to face the fact that I too have 6 stone to lose.

SF for today -toms, parsnips, carrots, peppers, peral barley lentils, split peas, onion and baked beans. Lettuce, more toms, spring onions.

Exercise - I bought an exercise bike on Monday, did 15 mins to start on monday night, then 25 mins on Tuesday night, (did not get any done last night, had to go and sort my mother out, she is disaabled with kidney failure and diabetes), but plan for another 20 mins at least tonight.

I hope its OK I have added myself to the list

Oooo cottage cheese and smoked salmon.. I love smoked salmon.. I could eat it every day...

There's a pate on the website that I saw that I'm defintely going to try.. Smoke salmon, quark, seasoning, parsley and lemon juice.. Blitz it and voila. I hope it's delicious.. Especially if u put some Philly light in it... Make some crudités and it'd be delicious!

Exercise: err.... I missed swimming this morning due to sleeping late... I could do more tomorrow but dont want to push it. also finding it hard to motivate myself after work..

There's loads of exercises around but at this time of night I'd rather be curled up under a fleece, especially in the winter.

I have previously (in the 18 months) managed to lose 2 and a half stone on slimming world, I got impatient and dabbled with slimfast/ww etc but these proved unsuccessful for me. Yesterday I (finally) re-joined slimming world and I'm back and motivated to do this!
I think I've failed before because I always lose the first week determination after I lose 10 or so pounds... so this time I need to be committed to go the whole hog!
I was browsing the threads and saw the '6 stone to lose' and was all yayyyy :bunnydance: found you guys!
So here I am!

Can someone explain the twice weekly challenges to me?! Are they food/exercise related?!

My starting weight as of yesterday is 16 stone 3 and a half pounds! So 6 stone off will take me to 10 stone 3 and a half pounds! YIKES!!!!!!!
