Dory, we all make mistakes. When I first did SW years ago the first week I didnt lose anything and had followed the plan to the letter.

During the first week I had also decided to up my fluids so I bought some diet lemonade and drank a whole 2 litre bottle every day.

When I got home from the disaterous WI I checked the diet lemoade bottle and unfortunately it wasnt diet, but the full sugar version!

Hey girls how are we all doing. I've been keeping my slimming world under 1300 calories and it seems to be working. I only ever lose 1lb-2lb a week max but have lost 5lb this week :)

Thanks girls. I want to lose 2lb this week so I will of lost half a stone in 2 weeks :) just wish that I joined a class as I want a sticker hahaha

Hello ladies,

The exercise is definitely on tonight and tomorrow.

I'm going to have 4 suppers ready for the week too so I will have no excuse for exercising next week.

What lunches should I take with me to work this week?

Im thinking some sort of quiche that I can have with some salad.. Need to have a look at some recipes inspiration..

Oh, and some pasta made with home made sauce will be nice...

Which bachelors rice is free btw?

Well I've never done sw before so its kinda new to me, but also up until Jan last year id always dieted with someone, either my mum when I lived at home or the past 9 years my (soon to be ex) husband. So I'm kinda going it alone for the first time. I can still talk to my mum about it obviously and I do have a bf now but we don't live together, so well Idk it just seems different this time round but I'm hoping that's a good thing and I'll finally lose it for the last time!

Dory hun, you'll do just fine, and you won't want for help, advice, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to celebrate with and any criticism if needed on here lol

I had a similar experience, after years of being a staunch weight watcher I changed to SW (just to stop my daughter nagging at me) and told my C it wouldn't work but I'd give it a go, 1st week stayed the same, 2nd week was ill and 3rd week when i went back, was of the opinion I had stuffed my face so wouldn't lose and hopped on the scales to find I had lost a whopping 10lb, I have never looked back lol :hug99: xxx

Lily42uk I keep rereading that link, still so much I need to get my head round. I'm so used to ww and having to count everything I need to check to make sure what I'm eating is in fact free! (or has however many number of syns) I'm sure it'll get easier once I'm used to it :)

I have had a wonderful date night & as promised, I have loaded some pics of the meal!

The pics really don't do the meal justice!!

I did have a large glass of red and a large glass of Baileys! (oops!) but I have a whole week to work it off!!

I am planning on doing my Kettleworx tomorrow and having a long walk with hubby and dog!!!

Thanks ladies....

With the long walk we have planned and an hour Kettleworx, the Baileys will be a distant memory!!! Lol x

Ok... so today: tomatoes, mushrooms, garlic, banana, apple, clementine (not my best!!)

Plus 15 minutes on Vibro Plate & 30 minutes walking...... does about 3 hours of cleaning count too lol??!!

I also made a 1/2 syn Fruit Roulade... hubby was UBER happy with that when he came back from the match!!!! ;0) xxx
