Well i went to harvester and wasnt toooooo bad.

Hi sis! Yeah could use less milk (still growing need my calcium!). Yes mum, had tomato, green pepper and onion with potato. Open to ideas for quick meals to plan next week.

Have you had a look on the recipe thread?

My faves are
Curry made with chopped toms and spices.
Pulled pork made with a pork joint and bbq sauce(.syn sauce or there is a free sauce online)
Frittata
Burgers

OOh yes please tell your hubby we'll be comparing legs next year. (don't know about the hairs though, he's probably got less!)

Right big sis quick meals cook them the night before for the next day if your starving when you get in or Pippa and Becki do a lot of weekend cooking for the week:

Pasta Arrabiata use fresh chillis and lots of veg to bulk it out

Frittata (basically a big pan baked omelette)

rice with bacon and veg

Curried meatballs

Spice up the greek things like the bizzelli and louvi adding some spices and chilli (experiment and if you don't like it don't cook it again)

Chillies you love chilli make it with extra veg in it like aubergines etc

Ok thanks for the tips. I think weekend cooking is good to stock up freezer for lunches for work but when I come home I want something fresh so I,ll try your suggestions. Need to buy some mixed spices and stock to have around. I'll look through the recipe thread as well.

This is addictive but I need to do some housework and come back later, otherwise I wont do anything!
 
Bubbles no . 2 are you going to start your own diary so write what you eat ( pics will be great too! ) and we can comment and give you tips or steal your ideas! Hehe...or are you just using bubbles diary?
 
It is addictive and that's why we can do this at home.

I agree with Becki and start your own diary that we can follow I know this is new to you and you will find your way around this site but its fantastic and people will pop in and give you advice. that's all I did. Can someone remind us how to start a new diary because I can't remember to guide my sis through it.

Housework heh? how boring I didn't even do the ironing that was planned today, infact I don't know where today even went.
 
I can write what I eat but not really into this new technology stuff where you take pics and enter into computer, I mean I still use the old mobile phones with the buttons don't know how to use the touch phones! Anyway I will write what I eat and give the recipe for any Greek food, but I,m not very creative, that's little bubbles highlight.

Jealous, what!! Your meal looks soooo good. Though I had lentil and potato curry made in the slow cooker, with salad on the side, and it was pretty good too.
I'm glad you went out and enjoyed it though. :)
 
Evening Cloudy

Yep harvester was delicious but it wasn't a fast day!! That's 2 fails in the first week that's pretty bad really no willpower at all. Although feeling much healthier this week than last week in Cyprus. I just was eating 'til it was coming out of my ears at least now its reduced I don't feel so bloated.
