The battle of the Bubble

Hi diary!
Feeling sorry for myself today. Keeping a log cos im trying to get my head straight. Its seems that my down days at the moment are 1-2 times a week. It also seems to be after a binge! So im not giving up but thinking its not the depression. More to do with nutrients, vitamins maybe.? As i say im keeping a log for docs cos i really want to get off the happy pills this year. Id rather take vitamins if i need to.

Yes, good idea! Have you spoken to your doc about how to come off slowly when you're ready?
Vitamin B complex is great for helping your body deal with stress - I used to take it, as well as regular Vitamin C.
Do vitamins have to be synned though? Have never thought about that. Hmmm...
I think you've been doing amazingly well, Bubble, with your eating, your exercise, everything. It totally makes sense that you'd feel slightly more down after a binge - but are your 'binges' really that bad?

Why can you fall into these traps so quickly but its such a journey to climb out??

That's interesting about ur log - ur doing everything so thoroughly Bubbles!

I find I'm lethargic and can feel down after eating sugary stuff and carbs - so it cd be the same for u?? I do think tho' that ur also v hard on urself - u've mentioned ur strict childhood - could it be a result of that I wonder - I pose the question - not to pry but because I had a difficult relationship with my late mother and it still affects me at times. I think lots of dieters find it so easy to fall off the wagon but struggle to get back on.

I try to focus on all the good things in my life it doesn't always work but it might be worth a try? Hope u feel brighter as the day goes on - mornings are often the worst for ppl with depressive tendencies they say.

Yes doing it all with docs approval and b-complex may well be an option again (had them in the past) never thought of vit-cs or the syns.

Thanx upndown. Ive had major councelling and yes it stems from my upbringing. My family will never see it that way. We've got a great relationship dont get me wrong but i have been the black sheep in their eyes for most of my life. Not saying i dont make them proud, i just werent 'the good little greek girl' they wanted. Long old story one day id love to write it all down but its took 5 years of seeing shrinksto sort me outish!
Things have got better now, i am very proud of my achievements, my family, and my life, one day my parents will admit it too. :rolleyes:

I'm good thanx kay another eve off plan though but i mustnt let it bother me.

No no its not going to bother me i dont smoke i dont drink so if food is the pleasure in my life then so be it. ;)

I LOVE 2 weekly weigh in's! I think they either really suit people or really dont, so soon you'll know how you feel about it. For me I can sometimes get really frustrated and upset if I see a teeny loss after a week, so with the fortnightly wi's I always have a decent number waiting for me. It takes a massive amount of pressure off. I'm weighing in weekly this wee just so I can see how the soup challenge helps my losses and I feel a lot more stressy that I do with the fortnightly WI's.

You're doing amazing and the last thing you need is to pile pressure on yourself, I really hope fortnighly WI's will help. It does get kinda tempting though to sneak a peek after 10 days or so though, lol

Have a lovely Easter, I've taken antidepressants myself in the past (for panic attacks) and I know how crappy they can be, really hope you can come off them soon xxxx

S'pose i better say hello diary!!
Not even going to bother writing food for today.
Im not sad, its been lovely not even thinking about superfree and syns. I must admit i cant stop thinking of food though!
Have 5 weeks today til centreparcs:eek:
Not even got my stone... mmm i guess i better get a move on if i really want this.
Got nothing going on from tuesday till then so im really going to give it 100% on plan.
Ive had meals out, takeaways chocs the lot these hols so hopefully all cravings out of my system now.

Just climbed into bed. Having a quick catch up. Then off to the land of nod.
Worked out a lovely day with kids and a really nice snuggly evening with hubby too. Think i divided my time well today, everybody except my guts happy. Tummy been overloaded and boy do i know it. Also now officially totm. Thought it was early but working it out its probably right. Comes round too quick. Blah.:rolleyes:
Anyway will try to be on plan tomorrow, but no promises til tues. X
