Just seen your last post. Oh that would be fab wouldn't it? Do you use those scales on a Monday too?

Yep! I weigh at home after group and the last couple of weeks my scales have been spot on. Doesn't mean anything though. Would love to get to 2 stone, but that really is a big ask!!

You've certainly earnt it! Sounds like you've got some fab stuff lined up too. Jules will be very jealous of your cooking day I think. :)

Layla....... lol
Well done on the loss and sooo jealous of you going to see Eric Clapton and @ pinkie, I just posted on my diary about being a bit tipsy last night and downloading a load of stuff from itunes.......one of which was the extended version of Layla. Fabby tune and I had a little bop to it and ended up with very scary hair hahaha x

Well done, even if it isn't yet official... it WILL be! 23lbs is a LOT, too, and how brilliant that people are beginning to notice. Woo!!!

Smash pizza... I will have to check that out! Does it have to be smash or could ordinary mash work too?

xxx

I'm a bit waffly today. I had a loooong chat late last night with my Uni friend and it was so nice to speak to him. I'm feeling really positive about my loss so far, and I'm really looking forward to (likely next week, not this Monday) reaching my Club 10 and getting to the 2 stone mark. I also am so pleased about my weight loss being noticeable. My colleague comes back from working in the US after the Bank Holiday weekend and I'd love it if he noticed a difference, too!

Not feeling particularly hungry today. The last week has been stressful, but I think it's also last night's vodka!

Breakfast:
Sliced melon, mango and pineapple
Shape Zero yoghurt
Coffee with whole milk and sugar (3.5 syns)

Lunch:
Special K lemon mini breaks (5 syns)

Supper:
SW friendly burgers (with chopped jalapeños and onion in the mix) with SW chips and steamed veg. 1 tbsp barbecue sauce (2 syns)

Total syns: 10.5

Hi! I don't think it has to be smash. I know that there are some people who use the Asda smart price instant mash. I'm not sure proper mash would work as, from what I understand, the mash has to be made up with very little water so that it's more like a dough that you can flatten out in to a pan. Haven't tried it yet, but I hear it's good! Xx

Haha! Yeah, he bought me tickets for the two of us to go 5 years ago for my 21st birthday and now we try and go as often as possible when EC is here!

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the cheaper own brands actually worked better!

Excellent! I was planning on buying the Asda smart price stuff anyway. Smash is so expensive for what it is!

Hmmm... food diary over the weekend has been a bit rubbish. Well, yesterday, anyway. Sunday was a case of major pre-WI day nerves and had 0 syns. In fact, my stomach was and is so all over the place that I had fruit for breakfast and struggled to keep down a Hifi bar and a yoghurt later. This morning is the same. I've had some fresh pineapple for breakfast, and it doesn't seem to be going down.

Now, I'm not entirely sure how to take this. Is it unhealthy to be SO nervous about a weigh in?? This is generally my reaction to extreme nerves, by the way. Uni exams, A-levels, driving test - any test/exam situations I come over all funny. I don't know whether to think that I am a bit nutty for getting so choked up, or if I should take it as a positive because it shows how much I want this to work. I've been pretty good all week (ignoring Friday night's indiscretion with Mr. Smirnoff) and am hoping for a decent-ish loss after last week's gain.

Ignore me. I'm waffling. Hope y'all have a great day! xx

It's totally natural to be so nervous! I'm exactly the same, even after 18 months of doing it!! You hit the nail on the head, it's because you want it so much, so long may the nerves last because they will motivate you!! XXXXX

Thank you, sugarplum! That's what I needed! xx

Breakfast:
Fresh pineapple chunks, 2 passionfruit
4 coffees with skimmed milk (HEa)

Argh... My stomach is all over the place. I am desperately hoping for a good loss tonight and am really looking forward to group tonight, but my nerves are starting to get the better of me. Wuss, much?!

I'm the same, when I'm a bit down I stuff my face. When I'm really really stressed I get an upset tummy and the squits. Can't win! xx

At least I'm not the only one! xx

8lb off tonight! Can't believe it!

That's fantastic!! Well done hun u deserve it xx

Thanks Laura! It really does feel like it's a long time coming. I'm just so pleased. Yay!

Have you spoken to your housemate yet? I'm sure she'll be fine about it. Hope you're feeling a little happier xx

Thanks, I haven't spoken to her yet, wanted to get everything straight before I do and she's working tonight. I will talk to her tomorrow and make everything alright :) x
