The First Diary of Trudy C age 40 something!

as above xxx

Loving the fact your feeling better and your tummy healing so well. You know that bottle of bloatedness you put to one side? you need to smell it every day to remind you then look at your beautiful new flat tummy and admire what you have achieved. And think I will never undo all this hard work re., Dukan for over a year, surgery and savings virtually wiped out. I so admire what you have achieved and your tummy tuck seems to be the happy ending to the story. But as we know dieting is what we have chosen to do for ever and can never go back to our old ways. why should we.....Have another fab Dukan Day xxx

Very true Siddid and I am reading what I wrote over and over!!!! Your post can add to the collection too!!!! Need to remind myself of the journey and continue on it!!! Food is NOT the be all and end all of my life - I don't know why I let that be the case some of the time!!!! Other things are vital and so much better - probably focusing on food a bit too much atm cos I am a bit restricted on what I can do but not for much longer I hope!!! Going shopping tomorrow with my friend then have rehearsal so a busy day - will be good to see how I feel after that! Trying for another PP day today as scales haven't shifted from the gain I had from the 'blip' - not panicking just trying to learn from it!!!! LOL!

Awwwwwww T just catching up on few diaries before the Internet police comes & catches me. Glad to see you are healing nicely after your surgery :) not going to give you a pep talk on how you are feeling about food at the mo as I think you need to concentrate on a full recovery & then get back on the D bus x

Well a good PP day today - feeling very bloated but not sure why but hey ho!!! Maybe the surgery but not sure!
Looking forward to a day out tomorrow!!
Food for today
B - muffins
L - turkey/salmon/prawns in chilli cheese sauce
D - home made beef burger with sweet chilli sauce and tiny bit extra lite philly!/muffins
Looking forward to a PV day tomorrow - big breakfast planned!!! LOL!

T we all have slip ups, don't beat yourself up. Seriously you have done amazing, awe inspiring, I agree we need to remember the guilty feelings, it helps us to stay focussed. But there is a lot on your plate at the moment, concentrate on one thing at a time.

Off shopping for the day - broke my savings pot open to fund the knicker shopping expedition!!!! Had the pot there for three years - gonna see how much is in there!!!! £50 = Primarni £100= M+S £150= Debenhams £200= a bit of designer - LMAO!!!!!

Why is it when you have money burning a hole in your pocket that nothing but nothing looks great?????? Shopped till we dropped today but only came away with 7 pairs of knickers, a pair of pumps, two work t-shirts and a jumper that I thought I loved but on reflection - not!!!! NO lovely little tops - loads of stuff looked 'nice' but nothing and I mean nothing was 'wow I love it' so it stayed on the shelf!!!! Even Primarni was a let down - all looked fine but again nothing amazing!!! Oh well - my change collection came to an impressive £140 so I have change left over to play with!!!!
Lovely PV day today but eaten a huge dinner and tummy feels uncomfortable!!!! LOL!
B - muffins
L - scrambled egg, bacon, mushroom, tomato
D - home made beef burger, carrot and swede, onion, mushroom extra lean bacon sauce/ muffins
Rehearsal tonight - feeling pretty tired but it is only singing so hopefully will be fine!!!

Oh I hate shopping days like that. Well done on saving so much money, my change jars fill up and then I put them all in bank bags and into a seperate tub. Counted it all up at christmas and had £225. I save £2 coins, 20ps in an old smartie tube (fits £11.60) and all copper and 5ps in an old wine bottle. It all adds up.

Hope you get a better shopping day next time.

Yep no rush to get new clothes I guess! Now going into 3rd week after op and feeling very much like my old self - hard not to jump back to working horses - will resist for another week and then see how I go!!! LOL! My new knicker collection is very pretty!!! Had a sort out of my drawer and three away all the big ones apart from the spanx type that will still suck it all in!!! LOL! PP day today if poss!! x

Now T you wont be needing any spanx with your new flat tummy !

Oh a gal always needs spanx Jo! OMG two things today - one, I tripped over a rug and realised that in no way or shape am I ready to work horses yet - really shook me up cos it hurt quite a lot!!! LOL! - what a wimp! Second I discovered a delicious recipe that I had printed off last year but never done and OMG again, it is delicious!!!! A defo new favourite for PP days!!! Don't know who put it up but is as follows:-
2/3 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons ff yoghurt
2 tsp curry powder (I used mild)
2 tsp tikka powder
1/4 tspn cornflour
1 tablespoon sweetner
salt and pepper
Dry fry chicken until cooked through and take off the heat..... In separate bowl mix all other ingredients together and then add to the chicken taking care not to heat, just warm through as yoghurt will split - serve immediately!!!! As close to a chicken korma as I have ever got and delicious on it's own!!!! AMAZING!!!
Spent today doing not very much so hope to have a more productive day tomorrow!!! LOL!
B - muffins
L - yoghurt/chicken/muffin
D - chicken curry as above/ rhubarb clafoutis with sweetened quark
Car needs to go back to the garage as engine management light on AGAIN!!!GRRRR!

I love Knickers and I'm still wearing size 16/18 Bridget Jones xxx
