So a lovely day today - started off with a good WI and then a lovely PV day and more clothes shopping. Cleared out my drawers again today and had another bag of clothes for the charity shop - went via a friends house to see if she wanted anything first and she was running short of trousers so was delighted to get loads of size 18 jeans/trousers. Tried on the remaining clothes from the bottom of the wardrobe and all of them now fit apart from two teeny pair of size 14 3/4 length trousers. Crazy feeling to get into clothes that I bought over 10 years ago!
Also bought a pair of jeans today that are a lovely fit so that was nice. Drawers are looking slightly empty but hey ho - it's a good feeling.
PV day-
B - 2 muffins
L - ham and mushroom omelette/salad/skinny latte
D - steak/swede/carrot/mushroom and onion sauce/ 2 muffins/syrup/tofu creme
S - chicken (lots of it)

As usual, have eaten the house and home again, tis Monday for sure - love my PV Monday. Gonna make a venison hot pot tomorrow for my PP day. Lovin Dukan!!!!
 
least you have been buying usefull clothes.... ive bought anouther 4 dresses this weekend LOL
 
Ellie you can wear a different dress every day to muck out in!!! LOL! My iPhone got wet yesterday and now won't charge up - was working perfectly until the battery went so hoping that a spell on the radiator will fix things - ironically only got till the end of the month for my upgrade but don't have a working handset till then - before I had my iPhone I had loads of phones but recycled them all - wish I had kept one for emergencies!!! GRRRRRRR. No alarm to wake me up this morning but woke at 6.30 anyway thank goodness. Made a mince flan and put a venison hot pot on for tonight so my house smells lovely and I have nice things to look forward to eating on my PP day - ohhhhh feel very organised!! Sun is shining but it's a bit chilly. Horses a bit on the naughty side as their day off yesterday and they are feeling cheeky!!

What a nice feeling!!! Should send you the LBD that I bought at the posh boutique as don't think it is ever gonna fit me - tiny size 14 but room for boobs!!! LOL
 
it will fit you ;) have faith .... the bay boy was ridden yesterday.... hes such a numpty and really made hubby work hard LOL he always goes so nice for me as i push him into the bridle with plenty leg... something hubby forgets to do haha. show on saturday and his coat is inbetweeny but need to get him out ... and that indoor school has mirrors so hes liable to flip hehe... may just video him for the laff factor
 
LOLOLOL - payback for all his misdemeanors!!! Another show on Sat means that the rubbish weather may be upon us again!!! Look what happened last time. My boss has just got back from a week or so in USA and right back in at the deep end with the horses, bless him, he doesn't know whether he is coming or going with the jet lag!!!
 
Trudy, I just wanted to say that I followed your meat flan recipe today and it was delicious! I feel much more inspired to make some of the other Dukan meals now. With food as tasty as that I may well be able to maintain my 4xpp/3xpv regime, which suits me very well from a social point of view. Thanks for posting. x
 
So today I decided to take the plunge and commit to losing another 16lbs on Dukan - when I originally had my true weight calculated by Dr Dukan he recommended 12 stone. However, this will mean I am still overweight and my BMI will be high too so I reckon that 10st 10 lbs would be a better target. I was sad to see the weight loss target go from12lb remaining to 28lb remaining but bearing in mind how far I have come these last 28lbs will eventually disappear and I am in this for the long haul so it will take as long as it takes!!! Glad I have done it!!!
PP day and was a little bit tough after such a lovely PV day but manageable................ Little bit extra hungry though today!!

B -2 muffins
L - mince flan/ tofu creme and muffin
D - venison hotpot/ 1 muffin
S - turkey

Just got in from rehearsal, tired and v hungry so had some turkey............ tummy now gurgling and jumping around as not used to food so late in the day!!! LOL!

Thanks trudy .....yeah all is really good saw dr Dukan on tv yesterday and remembered how well I'd done on it and thought hell why not ill gi find trudy lol xxx

id be the same as you trudy.... go that extra bit to get a healthy BMI :D my sis in law was nagging me the last time i was down saying to stop as id lost too much yada yada... but i aint stopping till i get that target which will take me just into the healthy range and see how i feel from there :)
 
No problem Sara, did two different ones, one for a pv day and one for a pp day.

400gms venison
1 onion
garlic/black pepper
2 beef stock cubes
1/2 pint of water

Dry fry the onion and then brown the venison, add garlic and black pepper. Transfer to slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hrs. Add cornflour to thicken before serving. For a PV day I also added mushroom to the onion at the beginning , and then diced swede and carrot half way through cooking. I did find the dish quite sweet if that makes sense and at first served it with BNS and celeriac mash but I didn't like it - just to sweet as a dish overall so I would serve with a variety of other veg for a PV day. Had it again yesterday without veg and didn't thicken the gravy and it was still nice. Having leftovers today with pureed swede and carrot. Hope you like it.
 
So a weird day at work - I was lazy and unproductive which is not a nice feeling so need to get my butt into gear tomorrow!!! Got loads of stuff to do so not a case of not having anything to get on with!!!

Loved my PV day though - however did have two servings of my sugar and fat free pancake syrup which was a bit naughty - ah well PP day tomorrow so will try to be a bit stricter!!! LOL

B - 1 muffin
L - venison hotpot/swede and carrot/ 1 muffin with tofu creme and pancake syrup
D - chicken and salad/ 2 muffins with tofu creme and pancake syrup

Also had a rubbish end to the day with Ben and I having a fall out about eating- no one a winner in the end and just felt rubbish about it - children - can't always be the good guy I guess!!!! So frustrating that they don't come with a foolproof manual!!!!
 
Haha trudy it would be to easy if kids came with a manual, you just have to do a good job of doing the best you can. But when you remember your own childhood I always remember my mam and dad knew everything, hahaha but now we know the truth x
 
So another funny day at work with lots of different things getting in the way of a normal day - one of the horses got colic so had the vet rushing out and lots of other things that made it a weird day!!! Ben continued the food stand off by being sick again and then wetting himself at the child minder - all just a protest - then he came home, ate potato and meat with only a few moans and groans so made a big deal of it with lots of praise and a yoghurt - hope he has got the message!!! We will see!
Tired tonight so nice to be in bed early...............
