The First Diary of Trudy C age 40 something!

A good conso day but not sure why I am still hungry - gonna give it a while and then maybe have a wee bit more protein if necessary!!!! Girls feeling a bit better and got most of the accounts done which was good... Hopefully normal service will resume tomorrow!

B - 2 muffins
L - mackerel/ chicken/ cottage cheese/ balsamic/ swede and carrot/ onion and mushroom sauce
S - 2 slices of toast with cheese
D - crayfish/ small spoon xtra lite philly/ balsamic/ salad/ 2 muffins/ dukan custard!

Maybe I just need a drink!!! Non alcoholic obviously! LOL
 
Fill up on water......sounds good Trudy xxx im off to make the Dukan custard now with a big bowl if rhubarb xxx and your photo is fab and i agree your horse looks magnificent xxx
 
Well I can't understand why the judges didn't think the horse was great, I think you both look lovely. Off to see Killing me softly tonight, think I'd prefer puss n boots & popcorn :) x
 
LOL Jojo - sure it will be a good film - heard good stuff about it! Judge defo blind!!! LOL! Horses all worked in the rain so now have wet feet and wet trousers - gonna go in and cook myself some lovely lunch!!! Gala meal out tonight with the gals and Ben - going to OK Diner - sure to be fun!!! More accounts for the afternoon and a wander down the field to inject one of the mares!! Oh my life is fun! HOpe everyone having a great Dukan Day! x
 
So a good conso day with gala meal........ May have eaten a bit much but not gonna stress about it - only once a week and next week gonna look at cooking something at home for gala - less of a big occasion!!

PP Thursday tomorrow - gonna try and go for a run in the morning - even if it's raining - love running in the rain!!!! x

Beautiful autumn day this morning so ran in hazy cold sun - lovely - only did 1.1miles but at a better pace than last time so will push myself a bit more - maybe tomorrow! Defo had more thinking about gala meals and from now on gonna probably have more at home and be a bit more modest!!! Last night I ate too much and the good Dr says that is wrong............. Agree that he may have a point! PP Thursday today which reminds me I better take some mince out the freezer for tonight or will be going hungry - defo not a plan!!!! LOL! Have a good one everyone! x

Awww Ellie - come to Herefordshire for a couple of days - you can drive some neddies and get on the DukanConso straight and narrow!!!! You would definately want to take one of the neddies home though!!! Convert you from Connemaras to Morgans!!! LOL! x
 
connemaras can drive too :p it is something id love to try though ... for when im too old and decrepit to ride anymore lol
 
I know and I love them!!! Broke one to harness years ago..... She took to it like a dream and then my bosses friend INSISTED on driving her in a carriage that was too small for her - I tried to protest but she wouldn't have it and the very next day she threw herself on the floor and that was that.... We sent her to one of the best carriage drivers in the country and she quit on him - lay down in the school and refused to move - he said he could tie her to a tractor but failing that - she then went on to be a good riding horse but such a shame as certainly not her fault........
 
Haha me go hungry - I don't think so Sara!!! LOL! Didn't find PP Thursday too hard though I did have a wee moment about 2pm when I felt a bit deprived and had to find some protein quick to knock it on the head!!! Got loads more exercise today walking around the paddocks which was nice.... Weather just been beautiful today... Making the most of it before winter! Finally got Ben's passport application completed... HOpe I have done it right and not missed anything out - honestly felt like I needed a degree to fill it out - so many do's and don'ts!!!! When it comes back will look at taking a holiday with Mr Ben - probably an all inclusive somewhere like Turkey etc!

Think I am gonna make a butternut squash and chicken curry tomorrow!!! YUM!

Trying to be Jojo - I do keep having 'straying' moments but realise that will always happen and for the most part can ignore them! Managed another 1.1miles today with my run in the rain - Ben accompanied me on his bike which was hilarious and I ended up pushing his the last quarter mile - oh well a few extra calories to add for that! day going from beautiful sunshine to cloud and rain - let's see what the next half hour brings! lol!
 
oh i was just thinking yesterday id make chicken & butternut squash curry yum yum
 
And I've just put chicken and butternut squash in the oven to roast! Trudy, you're right, those wavering moments aren't going to go away, but you don't have to succumb to them. Just ackowledge them, and move on. Eventually they'll become fewer and further between (or so I hope!)

The company of a small person while you're running is a mixed blessing, I've found! They tend to race off, then collapse exhausted! Does Ben look cute in his passport photograph? And will he think so in 5 years' time?? He'll have a ball when you take him somewhere hot, with sand to play in and the sea/a pool to swim in. They're some of the best childhood memories, if you're luck enough to have them.

Well done on surviving pp Thursday. Enjoy proper food today xx
 
Ben looks a bit serious in his photo Sara - the guidelines are strict but explaining that to four year old is tough!!! LOL!
Revelation at lunchtime - WHY do I EVER waver from Dukan - just made an amazing lunch that was soooo tasty with enough for tomorrow too!!! Used my cheese portion for the day but that was all SO GOOD!
Working behind a bar tonight and have to leave at 6ish so gonna have a ham sandwich for tea with some of my lovely muffins!!!
Menu so far:-
B - 2 muffins
L - chicken with chilli/paprika/cauliflower/broccoli/lean bacon/cheese sauce made with cheese portion/skimmed milk/cornflour
D - ham sandwich/ 2 muffins
YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!
