Yep seem to be getting into the Dukan groove!!! Thank goodness, though I was sooooo hungry today but just filled up on Dukan food!!!! Last day of the working week for me with tomorrow off - hope I stay Dukan strong on my day off - defo plan to so fingers crossed..... After that looking at doing a couple of PP days so we will c how that goes but day at the time no jumping ahead this time!!!!
B - 2 muffins
L - salt and pepper chicken with Dukan BBQ sauce
D - steak/ carrot and swede/ mushroom and onion sauce/ rhubarb clafoutis/ tofu creme
My tummy is soooo full and I have eaten too much but all Dukan good so not complaining!!!! LOL!
 
Believe me - I was very sceptical as it looked yuk but it is soooo creamy and yummy - just made some more and loads of sweetener tipped in by mistake so had extra sweet tofu tonight - still was yummy!!!! LOL!
 
i made that tofu cream thingy but used the wrong type of tofu, i had the firm stuff instead of the silky, came out all grainy lol will have to have a go with the proper stuff

Has your judges been announced for the highland show yet ?
 
Oh dear are there different types of tofu? Which do I need and where abouts do you find it in asda? Is it fresh or frozen - I honestly don't know what tofu is ;-) I must have led a sheltered life lol :)
 
you need firm silken tofu and in asda its beside the beans & pulses (lentils etc)
 
awh I'm delighted you updated your stats too... I know it's scarey, and heartbreaking too, but it's real life and you'll have such fun amending those stats each week!

Morning trudy, what day are you having your official weigh day ? Is Ben back to school ?
 
Not sure yet Ellie - was tempted to get on them this morning as always did weigh on a Monday but gonna try for a PP day and weigh after that so hopefully in the next day or so if I manage to get through a day!!!! May even try today but too early to decide!!! On my second coffee and about to take Ben to school - not sure what I am doing today - can't remember if I have a massage booked or not - need to book two cars into the garage (MOT runs out today!!!) and get some more protein in !!!! Oh the excitement of my life! WELL done on a good day Ellie - sooooo glad we are on the right track again - not looked at the website to see who the judge is yet Ellie - too early to think about the show season!!! LOL!
 
Lol never too early.... I've got my first show in feb, filled my diary in already lol

All this talking about horse shows, does that mean 'SUMMER' is on its way ............ so bloody well hope so after the last very wet one.
 
dunnoe about summer... my first show is end of feb... its called the aberdeen spring show and it always snows on show day... i must be mental
 
Trudy - sorry to be a pain but how do you do the rhubarb clafoutis as there's a couple of different versions on recipe post - different amounts of eggs and flavourings - ta xx I know you use this a lot and its sounds lush!! Xx
 
The recipe I use is: -
2 eggs
3 egg yolks
300ml skimmed milk
100gms rhubarb
vanilla essence
4 tablespoons sweetner
2 tablespoons oatbran
Bake off rhubarb with a bit of sweetner for about 10 mins, mix all other ingredients together and whisk. Leave to one side..... Take rhubarb out, let it cool down then pour batter over and bake at 170 for 40 - 50 mins.....
 
BTW epic fail today - did great till 4pm then got a bit depressed about stupid problems I can't do owt about and just binged - oh well tomorrow the PP run begins!!!
