Week 12 day 7

Well weigh in day...and I have lost 2lb!:) If I had been totally 100% all week I might have been a bit miffed at that but considering I had a bad day on Monday, and I have to admit I had some cheese and sausage last night, then 2lb will do me just fine!! :)
Was gutted I ate last night but it was better to eat the cheese and a few slices of sausage than have the kebab I was actually wanting. I actually felt really full very quickly and wasnt even tempted to eat anything else either (which is what happened on Monday).

So overall, I am please where I am at so far considering the struggles I have been having.

I would like to get another couple of pounds off for next week to get me as near to 13 as possible before holiday. Thing is, I will be gutted if I get that close to the 13 and then put loads on on holiday and have to get it all back off again, but I suppose these things have to be done.:)

Thanks Clair, Yeah I normally would have eaten both too so I was pleasantly surprised with myself!:)

Congrats on your fantastic loss too Clair...you are steaming along! If you finish this 60 days you are doing you will have almost faded away if you keep going like this!!:):)..x

I think you will most definitely be under goal....you only really have another stone to lose....30 days and you will have that cracked!! easy peasy!!:) :)
 
Well done MM!!! So pleased you've had a loss despite your sausage! lol :D You sound really motivated too! How long until You're holiday now and how much more are you wanting to lose by then??? xx
 
Haha...I know, naughty sausage!!

I go away a week on monday but Im going to weigh in on saturday and come off plan after that. So 7 more days. I just want to get as much off as possible to hopefully get into the low 13's so 2-3lb would be good. Then when I get back off holiday I am going to seriously knuckle down as I feel like I have been treading water a bit and not actually getting anywhere for the past 4 weeks so I realy want to get back on track. I am about half a stone behind schedule at the minute and that could get worse by the time I get back off holiday. xx
 
Do you do any exercise??? I have to admit, apart from chasing my daughter around I don't. Last week though, everyday I took her for a walk and I lost that 4lbs really quickly so I reckon if you don't exercise, add even a little bit in this week and you'll get a good loss! And as for your holiday...enjoy yourself! You can sort it all out when you get back can't you! That's what I plan to do, havewhat I want on my wedding day and honeymoon and when I get back, get back on healthy eating (probably not exante) but some other healthy eating plan. That way, even if I put a stone on when I'm on holiday (which believe you me is VERY possible I wll do that in the first WEEK) then I will only have a stone to lose following a different plan. I know it's a bit different as you're going in the middle but still enjoy yourself! If you don't, you'll come home and feel like you've missed out and then may not throw yourself back into it 100%
Thinking about it, what I've just said is probably really bad advice so ignore it! lol That's just waht I would do if it was me! :D xxx
 
No I dont really do any exercise, I am normally shattered after work and dont really have the time at the minute. (Although that could all just be an excuse!)

I totally believe you about being able to put a stone on in a week...so can I, hence why I want to get low down in the 13's so I dont venture back into the 14's again!! Its pant isnt it that it takes so long to get it off and I am worrying about putting a stone on in a week and trying to make allowances before I eat again for gaining that much. The thing is, I can put on that much without binging or anything....that is just with normal eating. Its scary really. xx

You sound just like me with the weight gain. That's why when I go on honeymoon, I'm just going to enjoy it and worry about it when I come back. If I think about it, it'll ruin the whole time to be perfectly honest. I really do think too if you can do a TINY bit of exercise, just to get ur heartrate up a bit, not to build muscle that you will have a good loss this week. xx
 
Ok TINY bit it is then...If we get any nice days I will go on the trampoline....its good fun, I can spend time with my son and it totally wears you out without even realising it too much!!

Yeah I will definitely wait until I get back before I worry about it. When I gained on aamw, I put on half a stone but got it all back off again the very next week so heres hoping I can do that again!..x

The shred does work but my GOODNESS does it hurt! lol I have actually got a clicky left knee from doing it and I stopped it about 3 months ago! (maybe i was just too fat at the time and my knees couldn't take it!) I didn't lose any weight but I did tone in like, about 4 days!!! lol

That woman on it is a bit of a sadomasocist (sic) if you ask me.
I might do it if I ever get to a reasonable weight to tone up, but to be honest at the moment I would get starving doing exercise and would most probably eat. Not only that but I would think I had worked that hard that I deserved or indeed needed food after doing it...not good!! :rolleyes:
 
I'll keep you posted when mine arrives. Very curious about it but after contingency plan just saying in one part she says you should feel like you are dying!!! Now I'm scared. Trampolining sounds a much safer option. Think I'll resort to just hoovering!!! xx
 
Week 13 day 1

Wowsers...week 13!!

Its been a bit strange today. I had 2 people ask me if I had lost weight. I said maybe a little bit and one of them said well actually it looks like quite a lot!! Was just strange how they noticed it today, still im not complaining!!:)

Got through today fine at work but felt hungry tonight. I am fighting off food thoughts again (damn holiday mode!!) but I have had a soup and half a bar and I am going to have the other half later with a coffee.

Want to go to bed at 9 but strangeways is on and I really want to watch it so will go to bed after that. Hopefully that will keep me safe!!:)

Was chuckling to myself today coz a colleague of mine was doing the slimfast shakes last week. Shake for breakfast and lunch at work then I think he was having a propper tea. Anyway he lasted 4 days last week then had a crisp sandwich on friday, then he came into work this morning with crumpets for his breakfast and a leftover sunday lunch. I know its wrong but I found it quite amusing that he keeps making these half hearted attempts and then wonders why its not working!! He normally does it until Thursday then caves in on a Friday so he never actually gets anywhere!! It makes me a bit pleased with myself that eventhough I have had blips, I have still managed to stick with it enough to lose 2 and a half stone!!:) Maybe I will let him into my secret when I get to goal!! lol;)..x
 
I don't know how to quote on here (actually could someone tell me!)but I feel SO sorry for the poor slimfast guy at work! I can believe he's struggling with it because it's soooooo unfilling!! I could NEVER do it, no matter how many times I tried and the meal at the end of everyday is just WAY too much temptation for me! lol
Bet you felt fab when those people asked if youd lost weight :D
How do you get away with not telling people at work what you're doing??? Do they not ask where your lunch is!??!? lol Hope you're having a good day today chick! :D xxx
