I could NEVER do it, no matter how many times I tried and the meal at the end of everyday is just WAY too much temptation for me! lol

Yeah I tried slimfast once and ended up putting on weight!! It is very very hard to have a calorie controlled meal at the end of the day especially as you are starving because you have only had 2 shakes all day. Thats why I think exante is better, it takes out all food and puts you in ketosis to stop the hunger! Makes things much easier!

I dont eat lunch at work hun. People used to ask why I wasnt eating, but I went through a phase where when I did eat lunch (the real food kind), I really bloated up afterwards and got tummy pains (like trapped wind). I think just eating on the go at work just didnt agree with me so I stopped. This was before I actually started exante so now no-one really bats an eye as its just normal for me! I have a shake before work and have the rest of my stuff when I get home, which actually works out better for me as I struggle to most at night times! xx
 
Week 13 day 2

My internet is being REALLY slow tonight for some reason so may not be able to catch up with everyone!:(

Only 6 more sleeps till my holiday!! yay:cool:.....and then along comes a blooming ruddy great ash cloud!!:mad: It wants to bugger off before next Monday or I wont be a happy bunny!!

Well I have been getting through the days relatively unscathed. Got TOTM today which I wasnt really expecting (on depo so rarely get them and if I do, I dont know when!), but at least it gets it out of the way now before my holidays. I just hope it dont stall my weight loss this week seeing as I am going for the final push!!:eek:

Feeling tired tonight so might have an early night, which might also be beneficial as with my internet playing up, I wont have minis to distract me from food!!;)

I agree with you there....because exante takes away the food issue it's really not as difficult as people think is it!? I've only lasted a morning on Slimfast I think before I gave up! lol PAH!

My holiday was cancelled at Christmas, because of the weather.... so I know how it feels :(
 
Week 13 day 3

Well thankfully the ash cloud is now hovering somewhere over Germany!:) The forcast looks good as long as the volcano dont start spluttering more out so good news:)

I have had to make slight adjustments to my plans. I have got really bad TOTM which I dont often get due to being on the depo and that combined with 'holiday mode' I have eaten a meal tonight.:eek: So I am amending my plans to accomodate. I finish my holidays on tuesday 7th and had planned to continue being off plan for the rest of that week but as I have started eating earlier than planned, I am going to get straight back on to Exante on wednesday 8th. This will mean I am off plan for 2 weeks:rolleyes: I would have liked to survived until saturday this week, but with a whole combination of things going on, I feel like I am just fighting a losing battle! So I will just start afresh when I get back.

I will be doing 40 days straight TS and then I am away to Wales. This was supposed to be my original goal date when I started Exante, but dont think I will quite make it on schedule so will probably have to do another month on Exante after Wales to hit goal. I feel like I need this fresh start and the 40 day challenge to get back in the zone again so I will make a real go of it.

I really hope I dont gain too much over this fortnight. I am really going to work on portion control and healthier eating, see if I can set some standards for when I get to goal.

Had loads of people at work today commenting on how much weight I had lost!!!:rolleyes:
A few of us got into a discussion about how I did it and I found myself telling them Im on a VLCD! They had lots of questions but I didnt get 1 negative comment!!:eek: I was so surprised. I was talking with 1 girl who is really down about her weight and she was really interested but dont think she can do this diet which is a shame as she says she only wants to lose a stone and she thinks then she will feel better about herself. Well I got a stone off in 2 weeks. Anyway, there was also a lad there that is like a bodybuilder and into healthy foods etc and we were discussing ketosis and again it was all positive!! I didnt have to defend myself or the diet or anything!:)

Sorry this has turned out to be quite an essay!!

So plan is holiday....40day challenge....short break....1 month TS...GOAL!!!!!:p
 
Loving your plan lady! :D You just do what you have to do and if that means come off plan now then so be it. Because this eating plan really strips us back to nothing, when we keep getting that same urge it's usually right (look at me with my binge!) AND to motivate you even more, I'm going to try to lose enough weight to get to where you are now by the time you get back off your hols :D lol

Stay positive, do what you need to do and I bet anything that by the time you get back you'll be itching to get back on Exante an shift that last bit of weight!

Good news about work too, I bet if you'd have told them the day you started it would have been negative but because they can SEE it working it's all good :) Well done you. Hope you enjoyed your meal :D xxx

I am currently 13st 4lb and will not be weighing in again until sunday 12th so I expect you to beat me then I can be motivated to catch you up again!!:) That sounds like ages away dont it but I dont know weather I will weigh in after holiday to see how much I have put on or live in blissful ignorance and hopefully get some of it off again by the sunday...what do you think?..x
 
I think your doing the right thing Hun. Is it too early for me to refeed for my holiday? Its only 8 weeks away pmsl :D
You'll just have to watch what you eat, but I'm sure the food police will keep you in order ;)
I think I would weigh in after hols, at least if you gain it might make you more determined?! xx

I would weigh on the Sunday, keep your wi day the same. AHEM, I didn't realise you were 13st4lbs! lol I'm 14st7 so I don't think I've got much chance of losing a stone in 2 and a half weeks! lol BUT reckon you can probably expect to gain 7lbs when on holiday (sorrryyyyyy but that's even what Exante say when you re-introduce food 100%) which will take you up to 13st11 and I think I can get to that by the time you get back! Then the race will be on to get it off quickly! lol xxx
 
I think half the battle of this diet malarky is planning... and if you know what you are doing for the next few weeks or month or two, it gives you something to work towards.
Your plan does sound like a good un :)
Some hard work, and some time off. Perfect :D

Sorry I have not been around much, but to be honest I feel like a bit of a fraud being on here and being totally off plan!:eek:

Thank you all for your comments and encouragement though. I will enjoy my holiday and get back to some serious exante when I get back.

Bouncy, I would be over the moon if I only went back up to 13st 11lb after my hols but I fear I will end up back in the 14's. Still I will deal with that when the time comes!!

I have to say this eating lark aint all its cracked up to be. I have just been having an evening meal for the last 2 days and for 2 days the next day at work I have been in agony!! I feel so bloated, get stabbing pains and have what I presume is trapped wind. Thing is I used to think it was carbs that was doing that to me but for the 2 meals I have had, they have been just protein so that theory dont work. This is concerning me a bit to be honest and I would book an appointment with the doctor but whilst I am on exante I dont get the problems and If the doctor gave me anything for it, I wouldnt know if it worked until I started eating again. So for now I will just have to grin and bear it:rolleyes:

I am really looking forward to my hols now and the ash cloud seems to be staying away :). Going to get a haircut tomorrow and get some last minute bits and pieces.....ooo only 3 more sleeps:D

I hope everyone is doing great and I will try to catch up over the weekend before I go away...xxx
 
No way are you a fraud missy. I think it's sensib;le to re-introduce food pre- your hols as you will be eating normally then. i fully intend to do the same nearer the time for my hols too. You know you are likely to gain whilst away but you also know that you can lose it easily again when you get back. Try and relax a little about if it you can as you wanna enjoy your hols surely. As they say in TOWIE....."well jell babes" xx

Anyway, if you don't come back before, I hope you have a BRILLIANT holiday and enjoy it all and don't worry about your weight because you KNOW that as soon as you get back, you get back on plan and you will lose what you gained within 2 weeks!!! And we'll all still be here to spurr you on! :D You lucky thing! lol

We should have gone Xmas/New Year, but couldn't because of the weather. We were all gutted. Got all the way down to London, and had to come home again :(.

Well I think I am just about set for my holidays tomorrow!!:cool:

Cant wait to just have some relaxation time and chill out, it feels long overdue.

Was up at 3am this morning with the most god awful pain in my tummy. I had it before I went to bed but not so bad. Thought it was trapped wind and that it would go away when I slept. Then 3am I woke up in agony!! I seriously need to go to doctors and get this checked out at some point as Im sure its not right to be like that just because I have eaten food?? :cry:
Anyways I hope it dont happen on holiday as I really dont fancy a trip to the docs there!! hopefully the exercise in the swimming pool might counteract it somehow!! ;)

Hope everyone is doing well and I expect to see some amazing losses in your diaries when I get back!!:p
