hello ladies sorry long time no post, caught up in lots of things at the mo and did not want to moan or whine, so stayed away. mum still in hospital and was told last week she would not come home as she was unable to care for herself and would probably never be medicaly fit to do it, but in a way that is good for us as we know at least she is being cared for and i dont have to worry about when we are at work, is that a bad thought?, Sarah I think i have this right, have you started back to work, if so WELL DONE YOU!!!!
I am so looking forward to coming to London and catching up with everyone and having a break.

Hello hugy xx yes my darlin I went back to work on Monday on a phased return, I'm part time for abit and have a rest day in between xx It's not a bad thought about your Mum.. as you said she is getting cared for and that's really important.

JJ I'm going to ready and waiting for my hug in London!!! I need to make sure I get to book it off from work.. didn't want to go back the first day and ask for leave!!

Kim the inspectors are coming in to make sure we are doing what we should be doing, I'm a specialist housing officer and I work with disadvantaged young people. we provide them with accommodation for up to two years and in that time we enable them to learn life skills etc so they can eventually learn to live independently.

So as we are part government funded they are reviewing our service to ensure they are getting there moneys worth.. as in most services we are greatly under funded and certainly don't ever have any spare cash sloshing about., most of our young people have never had boundries and often under acheive at school, by the time they come to us they are so Jaded by life they have given up, and as most of them are only 16yrs old the first thing we have to over come is trust, they have often been badly treated and are quite suspcious of us!! It takes time but alot of them certainly gain skills etc by the time they are ready to leave. That's a great time when you realise they have outgrown our project and it's time for them to move on.

I won't bore you any more but thats a very watered down version! xx

hey all.
sorry i've not been around much but i've still got a virus on my pc. I think it needs to go into the pc shop hospital as I don't know enough about computers to sort it.

Well WI last night and I lost 3lb this week so i'm now 1lb off loosing 4 stone. So i'm really chuffed with that

My sister in law had her first baby on Monday. A boy weighing 7lb 13oz and they are calling him Jenson. I'm a very proud auntie at the moment. Just makes me even more broody

Anyway moving on. off to get my nails done shortly and finding to sort out a gym for OH.

Do any of you go to a gym for yourself or even swimming. I would like to but feel funny as i'll be the biggest person in there.

Well I've been cycling again and my shins hurt after???? (what is all that about??????????????????? I am bemused) went to fab music sesh for winkles at local village hall! LOL - thin I enjoyed it more than them! Also went to Health Visitor weigh-in session for winkles and now realise I've lost equivalent to my son and nearly my daughter!!!eek! Can't remember how it felt to carry all that weight on me - whichi 'll prob - or should I say i hope to - say down the line to how I am now!

Good evening ladies.. congrats Paula on the arrival of Jenson, how lovely! I adore my great nephew and my name for him is bubbalicious he is soooo scrummy! well done on the loss as well this week.. I havn't braved swimming yet apart from on holiday, before I became unwell i started going to an all ladies gym called curves, they are dotted around the country. I loved it as all ages, shapes and sizes were there, I hope to get back there one day.

So, day four back at work for me, I met with the inspectors today and the questions they asked about our service was more gruelling than my interview, my line manager did brief them before hand that I had just returned after five months.

Remember a few weeks ago I mentioned fainting at home, well I had another weird one last weekend, saw my gp yesterday for my check up and my blood pressure is too low, as i stood up he said do you feel funny, I said yeah I do I can see stars, well he informed me that my bp should go up when i stand up but of course I have to be bloomin different and mine goes down further. Perhaps that's why my hands and feet feel like blocks of ice!!

Suzie booked our room last night!! hurrah hurrah.. need to get a frock now xx

Congrats polly on becoming an aunt, its one of the best things every, i have lots of nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew. my 8year old niece sleeps with me every saturday night and it amazing to listen to her, she has a vivid imagination, you will love it.
Well done on the lose too.

Sarah how is been back at work going, are you enjoying it?

I have been mailing Margie and she ask me to tell you all that she is doing ok, she is back on track with the diet. She also said the diary is helping alot, but she is going to relax for a while and will post soon and catch up with everyone then.

Well I'm off to watch rugby at rugby club tomorrow - should be er 'interesting' never been to watch it before - we are off as a family to support a friend who plays - hubby pleased as there is a clubhouse/ bar there... I however have no interest in the sport so may have to take a magazine (is that deemed impolite???)

Dancing with the stars on at 9pm.....OH!!!: i know I shouldn't but just been on m-i-l's scales and I'm on the nose weight wise - so just need to eek 1 more pound away and I'll havebroken through to the stone below - fingers x'd!!!!

just when I start to get let the thought of food get the better of me; it is a realisation that it's a ;'drip-drip' effect and to just keep plodding on that keeps me going and I wait a week - why you mad woman? I hear you ask? Well because I can see another small change in the mirror of some sort and the odd venture to 'normal' clothes shops makes it seem all the more worthwhile (as can now buy from shops up to size20) and helps keeps me focused. I'm not as angelic as at the beginning but I'm getting there x

I'm rubbish, proper rubbish have had the urge to eat all week and I gave in yesterday and its been like an blinkin avalanche ever since. I'm hoping its just hormones but things are all a bit emotional at the mo, as my "husband" is deigning us with his presence in a fortnight and I just dont know whether I'm coming or going. I need to pull myself together and get my control back, just feel all over the show. ho hum.
I want to shift a few more pounds/stones so need to sort it out. pronto.

Good evening ladies, how are we all tonight.. well week one under my belt and gawd don't I know it. Left work yesterday and felt very unsure if I was coping as I was soooo tired, well the reason for it was I wasn't able to take my agreed breaks etc.. I don't quite know what is going on but there's abit of an I'm all right Jack sod everyone else.. (ooops ) attitude going on.. at lunch time everyone went out without saying a word and that's not how we work as we have to ensure for safety that two support staff are around. well there I was legging it up and down the stairs as the fire alarms were being sounded by the young people for a lark by the time everyone came back I was fuming!!! I left late and went shopping but had to abandon the trip as I went in as I wasn't feeling great.

When I got home my boss called me and said what the heck went on at lunchtime so I told him, he was cross and said it was unexceptable that I had been left and wrong that I could not take my break as it was a condition of my phased return.

I said I was picking up vibes within the team and it did not feel quite right?? he said I was right and there had been a barny last week that still had not been resolved!

Well as far as I'm concerned I think I need to be more assertive and speak up abit. I can't use every weekend as a recovery time as that was what I was doing before I knew I had M.E.

well ladies moan over!!!! lol .. the diet has gone adrift this week and I'm certainly not drinking enough water, so straight away work has taken over and I'm not even back full time. So tomorrow is a back to basics day for me!! JJ I'm with you lovely, I'm all over the show as well ! hope you are enjoying the x factor I'm a dancing girl on BBC! (IN my dreams) lol..

Clairey honey pie, the doc hasn't given me anything for my bp, I've got to wait for the results of the blood test.

I had my hair done today and it looked amazing I so wanted to show it off but I only had to go to morrisons .. oh what an exciting life I have.. BUT, its like Sarah Hardings style now so I'm really pleased.

Thank you for kind words of support ...life is so chaotic eh? & confusing - you are both doing really well and yes I think you should stand up and be counted and tackle your individual dillemas head-on - that way you have the reigns of control: without knowing the details I would suggest doing the following:

Sarah - make a point on saying 'does anyone have a problem with me carrying out my scheduled break as written in my back to work agreement with my boss and Occ H & W? If so please take it up with my boss and not out on me'. Or better still send a round robin on email stating you WILL be out of the office at such a time - infact scrap that; get your boss to get the 3 line whip out and make it known to all when you should be on a break so it makes it easy on you - you shouldn't have the 'politics' at this point it's ooo not fair lovey.

loving your hair styleeeeee! Stick a piccie of it on here!!!? PS How's Alfie - and PPS Keep a log honey on what is happening at work-with dates etc so if you do suffer a health setback afte all this nitpicking it helps cover you !!! xxx

JJ sweetie please don't let this unsettle you and play havoc to your routine; remember you ARE in control and he cannot affect you unless you give him permission. It must be soooo frightening for you as you won't know what emotion will hit you next and you will have secretly feared this occassion happening; so deep breath superwoman: tell him when and what times are suitable around you and your children and be firm (no offence honey but he knows how to mentally 'play' you or rather the 'old you' - so shock him with a wild card so he knows you mean business!) - you could always bring in a relative or good friend to the house to help you (emotionally) when he's there?? JJ you are a star - so shine! xxx

Well I went to rugby and do you know I actually quite enjoyed it - my mum and dad turned up unexpectedly (as when asked earlier Dad said he didn't think he's be able to make it) which I was thrilled about - as wanted Dad to get off his a*** and do something positive for himself and he loved it!

My sister had MRI scan last week and now having 2nd part of tests which involves electrodes around brain at Preston on monday - so m&d are off to stay with her tomorro to then take her...I really hope they find the undrelying reasons for all these migraine attacks she's been having... In fact they do say that with all this wireless technology, mobile phones etc more and more peeps in cities are complaining of migraines etc...little bit freaky...hey anyone got latest Spiritual & Destiny mag? - tis fab!!!

Gonna hit the sack now my little flapjacks hope you all have a shimmering slimming Sunday- ttfn xxx
