I had a look for some scales the other day and I'm pretty sure from looking at previous photos and after you saying about Wilko's they look pretty similar to a set on there website. Hope that helps?! I'm starting to wonder if part of my problem is the fact we live in an old house with very uneven floors... My scales are always saying different things.

Your day looks yummy, I did home-made nando's for the first time last night. Was yummy! I bought the frozen corn on the cob from tesco, really handy.

I'm gutted I forgot to take my chicken out of the freezer lol! I was really looking forward to it. But have mixed my food plan around a bit and will have homemade Nando's tomorrow night instead. Yum!!! xx
 
Oh I am late posting today!! Still on plan though, not doing a repeat of last week don't worry lol!

Did have a few extra Syns last night, but kept a track of them and I'm still well within my weekly limit. I fancied a bottle of wine and a bit of chocolate, so it was nice to unwind but not go over the top!!

Didn't wake up / get home from Warren's until about half 12, so hence the late posting and also lack of breakfast. Just had 3 mini (well I say mini, but they turned out quite big!) quiches with beans for brunch and am just sat having a cuppa and a bar as I type this.

Forgot again to take some chicken out of the freezer last night lol, what am I like! I took some out when I got in though so hopefully it will defrost in time, and it will be homemade Nando's for tea! If not I'll have to have something else and finally have my Nando's tomorrow lol!

Don't panic Kay, there's still time yet!! Plus it can fluctuate so much in very little time. I weighed at home this morning and my scales are showing 4.5lb off. I would love that to be the caE on Tuesday but you just never know. Not going to put too much stress on myself, just going to go with the flow and carry on following plan and see what happens Tuesday. You need to so the same! Look at all of those Mondays you made yourself bad with worrying and stressing, and you ended up having a fabulous loss on the Tuesday. Don't so it to yourself lovely. Enjoy your Chinese tonight! I do, but I always think the chicken goes funny when it's defrosted like that lol. I'm very fussy, I prefer to just leave it out and let it thaw naturally. Thankfully it's defrosted, so just about to make tea! :D x

Yeh i tend to leave it out but if i forget i defrost in the microwave lol :) enjoy your tea x
 
I don't like defrosting meat in the microwave either! Sometimes it cooks on the edges, and it freaks me out I prefer to leave it to thaw over night. Your nandos fake away looked beautiful! I think I'll make it one night, Chris would love it we love nandos x

Don't panic Kay, you still have a couple of days until weigh day. It will just be the food still in your system, plus Chinese is notoriously salty so a lot of that gain is likely to be fluid retention. Just stick to plan and you'll be fine. I bet you have a loss on Tuesday xx

Morning love! Had a bit of a hit and miss weekend. Friday and Saturday was lovely, but had a bit of an emotional day yesterday. Had too much time on my hands I think. But other than that, all good! Can't belive it's Monday again already, but keeping the Bank Holidays on Friday / Monday in mind to get me through the next 4 days.

The Nando's is so easy to make, honestly! I bought a big bottle of the Nando's medium peri peri marinade from Tesco, I think it was £1.99 and is only half a Syn per tbsp. So what I do is butterfly a chicken breast and pop it in a sandwich bag with 2 x tbsp of the marinade (1 Syn). It says on the bottle to leave it to marinate for at least 15 minutes, and for best results to leave it overnight. Basically the longer you leave it the better. Then when it was ready I just pan fried it! Or you can do it on the George Forman grill which is even easier. I just had it with some SW wedges, a mixed leaf salad and then 35g halloumi as my HExA. I do that in the pan / George Forman too, so that the outside goes nice and brown and crispy but it is still gooey and squeaky inside. It's delicious! Last time I grilled a corn on the cob too, or you could have some savoury rice which is just like the spicy rice Nando's do! Enjoy x
 
Morning diary, happy Monday. Don't these weekends just fly over!? I think even more so because last week was the first full week I've worked in a while, and I'd gotten used to having nice long weekends. Oh well, the two Bank Holidays are coming up now, so will have a nice bit of time off this weekend :)

Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow as well. It has felt so good to be back on plan this week, and I'm confident of a good loss tomorrow. My scales are down to 10st 10lb this morning - I would LOVE for them to say that tomorrow!! I need to be 10st 10.5lb to get my 4st award! But I'm not going to get my hopes up as I know how much things can fluctuate and how quickly things can change. On Wednesday I said I wanted to get that 3.5lb I gained back off. So that will be good enough for me!! Also can't wait to get to group tomorrow for the salted caramel HiFi's!! I am loving the updated peanut heaven ones, so want some more of those as well, but I have heard SO many good things about the new salted caramel ones. Very excited!

Anyway, this is how today is looking. FINALLY onto my last bowl of broth lol, it made loads! Think I might make another pan this week though, or at least another soup of some kind. All the SuperFree in it has obviously helped me this week.
