Morning everyone, I'm back!

It's safe to say I've been totally off plan last week. In fact, if I'm totally honest, I was probably off plan since the Friday I broke up. I just kinda went into holiday mode and have never stopped eating and drinking rubbish for the almost the last two weeks.

I had a lovely week off work though and really enjoyed spending lots of time with Warren, which has become a bit of a rarity since he got this new job. I won't bore you with all of the off-plan things I've consumed whilst we've been off, but we have had a night out to watch the first England game, a lovely day out to Seaton Carew, the cutest picnic at Hardwick Park, a super lazy day with lots of Breaking Bad, a night in with friends watching the econd England game, a BBQ with friends, etc. It's been perfect! The only negative about the whole thing is that it just went so quickly!

I also didn't get weighed last Tuesday. I had been off plan so was expecting a gain anyway, and besides we were off work and out and about. I didn't want to have to cut our day short and have to rush back for group. It's not often we get time like that, I wanted to just enjoy myself. Anyway, I've weighed myself on the scales at home this morning and it is horrific. 12st on the head!! OMG!! Last time I weighed at group (10th June) I was 11st 4lb, so I've gained 10lb in the last two weeks, jeeze. I know a lot of it will be bloat rather than actual gain (my tummy is like a football) but blimey. Definitely a kick up the backside!!

Not sure if I'm going to go and get weighed tomorrow night or not, I haven't decided yet. But I don't think I could cope with that gain! I have, however, decided to take the bull by the horns and get back on plan today. I'm back to work and so back into a routine. And they do say it's best to start these things on a Monday - fresh week and all that. I'm thinking that I probably won't go to group tomorrow and will just stay on plan until next Tuesday. That will give me 9 full days to get as much of this weight back off as I can. Okay I'll probably still be looking at a little gain, because I'll never get 10lb off in that time. But as I say, I just can't physically or mentally deal with a 10lb gain tomorrow.

Anyway, enough blabbering. Time to get back on plan! Kicking off with a yummy carb-loaded Green day. Here goes...


Green

(S) = Speed (SS) = SuperSpeed

Breakfast:
- Weetabix (HExB) with a sliced Banana, Strawberries (SS) and Milk (HExA)

Lunch:
- Batchelors Cheese & Broccoli Pasta'n'Sauce (made up with water) and served with Vegetables (Carrots (S), Broccoli (S), Sugar Snap Peas (S) and Baby Corn (S))
- Skinny Cappuccino Muller Light

Dinner:
- Pasta with Quorn Meatballs (S) and Vegetables (Peppers (S), Mushrooms (S) and Red Onion (S)) in a Spicy Tomato Sauce (Chopped Tomatoes (S) and Crushed Chillies (S)). Topped with Cheese (HExA)

Other:
- Salted Caramel HiFi (HExB)

Healthy Extra A: 350ml Skimmed Milk & 30g Red Leicester
Healthy Extra B: 2 x Weetabix & 1 x HiFi

I felt like you did about getting weighed after my holiday but I went to group and was glad I did for the support I got.

Hello gorgeous girl, welcome back! I'm back on plan today to shift my holiday gain too! Having been really close to target, I now have 19lbs to go, but I'm so ready to knuckle down and get it done! Looking forward to having your food diaries for inspiration again :D xxx

Yay ! Glad to have u back PS :p, saw your pics with Warren on IG, they were lovely ;). I'm glad u had such a fab time ! I think your right to take things at your own pace, next week will give you enough time to get back into the SW rhythm. Wish u good luck for this week, I know u will be making some yummy healthy meals, always look forward to seeing your pics :D .

Aww, thanks Kay :D We really did have such a lovely time together, and lucky Warren still has another week off work! He doesn't go back until Sunday. So we will be spending most nights this week together too. It feels like the very beginning again when we first got together. Like falling in love all over again hehe xxx

Thanks ladies, I'm glad to be back.

I need to give myself a serious talking to and a kick up the backside now. It actually makes me quite sad that I've put this much weight back on. Considering I'd gotten as low as 10st 10lb a few months ago, and was up to 12st this morning, that makes it 1st 4lb in total. Yikes!! It's really disgusting.

If I don't go to group tomorrow, which I doubt I will, then I'll have 10 more WI's before my holiday. It is looking doubtful that I will reach target by then (when will I EVER!?) but I'd like to get as close to it as I can before then. Wow, I really do sound like a broken record here.

Really not liking the way I am looking at the moment - my tummy looks and feels huge. I do NOT want to look / feel like this when we go to Tenerife in September. It's only 74 days to go now, which is not too long at all, and every day that passes is one day closer. I am only cheating myself and letting myself down by going off plan and bingeing on all sorts of rubbish, so it needs to stop.

I am just sitting down and writing out my meal plan for this week (well, today until next Tuesday) and I'm determined to stick to it. That seems very hard for me to do at the moment, but I'm not going to give up.

The only thing I have coming up which could hinder my progress is my birthday which is two weeks tomorrow. But I will worry about that when it happens! Right now I just need to tackle each day as it comes.
 
You did right to enjoy your holiday from work Hun, we only get a few a year!

So come on, you know you feel like rubbish, and you're upset. You can totally lose enough to make you feel better before your holiday. 1lb a week makes 10lb. A couple of lucky weeks you might even lose a stone. Don't lose faith. Xx

Glad to see you back PS and even glader that you had such a great time on your week off. Sometimes I think we get a bit too consumed and obsessed with the whole losing weight thing, to the point where it just takes over your life. Getting that balance between sticking to the plan and yet enjoying yourself is a difficult one to grasp. Hoping you've come back all rejuvenated and ready to crack on with things before your holiday!
 
Morning gang, happy Tuesday.

Not going to lie - yesterday was not the 100% back on plan fresh start that I had hoped for. My meals were all SW friendly, but there were the odd things (a big bowl of cereal, bag of crisps, handful of biscuits and a few sweets) in between which were not exactly on plan. I am trying not to beat myself up too much about it. I still feel like I have let myself down again, but I am trying to focus on the fact that lately nothing I have eaten has been on plan. So to have cracked the main three meals throughout the day is a massive step forward. Now just to break the habit of snacking on junk inbetween!

I have weighed myself at home again this morning and my scales are now reading 12st 1lb :eek: That is disgraceful!! Literally 2.5lb more and I will have put back on 1 stone. I haven't been this weight since November last year and just look at the damage I've done in just a few weeks!

It is heartbreaking to think that I am back in the 12's when I was once as low as 10st 10lb. hate the way I am at the moment and I desperately don't want to look / feel like this by the time we go away in 73 days. I just don't know why I can't seem to make these changes and turn things around, when I'm so disgusted about what I'm seeing in the mirror each day.

I have decided that I am going to go to group tonight. I need to, I need the support. I'm going to go on the scales so that a gain registers on my card, but I'm not going to look at them or have my weight written down in my book. I was 11st 4lb when I last got weighed so I know I'm looking at at least 11lb on tonight, probably more. But I figured that at least this way I will register a gain tonight and then hopefully I can have a good week next week and have a nice big loss. Rather than being good all week and still registering a gain, if you see what I mean?
