Hope your all ok though we are all down in the dumps aren't we. :(

Oh dear you've got it all :( You don't think it all came from the fasting diet do you? I know you said you felt run down when you started it, I don't know if it could really affect you inside & maybe your immune system?

Be well Lou xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi everyone x havnt been on properly since last week as been in hospital, was quite ill and had tests done to show i am meeding to have my gallbladder removed in a couple of months which means the part that breaks down the majority of fat in food, the doctor wants me to lose lots of weight for this and to carry on eating well after as i could get really ill x

its been a bad week food wose as hospital food surprisingly not that healthy and then friday had to go on holiday with my boys as disnt want them to miss out x it was really hard and to be honest i shouldnt of really gone but glad they enjoyed themselves and im back home now x

The only problem is im feeling really low now and cant stop crying, last week they pumped me full of morphine, tramadol, amatryptaline, painkilllers, antibiotics and now i think im having withdrawrals plus feeling worried about how im going to stick to this SW plan for life eek! It sounded so serious when the doctor said it i am just not sure i can do it x

Apart from this problem i have severe IBS, excess sweating from my head when i do any kind of exercise, medication for chtonic migraines and beginning signs of arthritis and i turn 30 next week so feeling a bit of awreck x

Def going to be a gain in the morning x

Afternoon tortoises.

Well as I'm not around much tomorrow and I fly to the UK early on Sunday, I decided to take today's weight as my official one in lieu of next Monday.
(Hope you're still with me here - I know I'm a confusing old fart at times).

Soooooooo . . . get your trumpets out, bang the drums, and roll out the red carpet.

This morning I weighed 72.9 kg (=11 st 6¾ lbs) - yes I'm under that bl00dy 74 kg which has been haunting me for ages.
Which meand I've lost 1.7 kg (3¾ lbs) since Monday - when I was actually slap bang on official target!
Gawd knows how I've done it - but I did say I was going to be a very good girl all week - and I have been.

And I'm 1.5 kg (3¼ lb) under official target!
So that's 32.1 kg lost = 5 st ¾ lb, BMI = 25.55, and 30.57% body weight lost since I started.

So to say I'm a happy bunny is an under-statement. I think a wee celebration is in order tonight (and I won't even look at the scales tomorrow).
So I'm on the naughty step - leaping up and down, and dancing like a blumin' lunatic.
There's a case of Cava here, some gin, vodka and anything else you fancy in fact.

That's it - that's my final, final target reached. No more weight to lose. Just need to maitain properly now.

Won't be around much after tonight until 13th so good luck to all you lovely tortoises over the next 12 days.

Wow so pleased for you hun you must have worked so hard to get there you must br feeling so good :) x very encouraging xx

Sorry to hear all of this Teamnasher :( Sounds like you've got it all going on right now. Being in hospital would mean your food options are out of your control & you can't help that. Just draw a line uder it-when you are able to-and get back into it when you can.

Let us know how your WI goes this morning. Hugs x

Ha, ha - I can relate to that - I just turned 53 in August!

sorry your not well team nasher, i hope you get sorted soon :( i turned 30 last year and it was great, had a right good p1ss up hahahaha

well im back on the diet train, despite feeling unwell i have decided enough is enough ive been messing about since beginning of july as ive had so much on, i didnt do bad, i managed to get a couple of pound off since then but ive been doing the up-down dance, so im committing to the cause ;) 1200 a day, no snack, lots of walking, doing my c25k, and on a sat or sunday night im going to have 1800 cals to stop me feeling deprived and hopefully keep me on the straight and narrow. i have 14.5 weeks to my goal date and 17 pound to lose, i KNOW if icommit to it i could do it, and i dont really have a choice, if i dont do it im letting my friend down as a bridesmaid as i ordered the dress in a 10 and we cant exchange them now as they have sold out/discontinued.

Sounds like a good plan Lou! Your head is in the game. I remember when you first got into tracking & you were so determined & did really well :)

Well I need some advice - I did post in the main forum, it's not the kind of thing I like to discuss. I haven't been to the 'toilet' since Sunday morning, I know that may not seem bad but thanks to SW I'm very regular & never miss a day (by that I mean I usually need the loo when I get up). the only difference is on Sunday & Monday I ate my veg curry for dinner, it was all veg plus the SW paste I made. Could that have bunged me up?? I'm drinking a lot. WI is tomorrow & at this rate I'm pretty sure it will affect it. Today I've had my puffed wheat with yogurt, a cheese salad, an apple & 6 syns. Unsure what to cook for dinner. I need to get things moving, this has never happened before!

Well done - good for you for facing weigh in. It helps to know you have support from your consultant and group......... oh and, of course, your tortoise friends here :D

I gained 3lbs too over a couple of weeks, but it is (very slowly!) coming off now. TBH I am dreading weigh in on Friday as I am now back on winter dose steroids (nearly twice the dose as summer) so I am going to pack some on - I could eat a scabby horse - or even two - right now  and that's not taking the water bloat into aco**** either

Some of your "gain" will be water and carb bloat so hopefully it will shift itself quickly.

GOOD LUCK!!!
